There is a major construction around this place. Very nosy. No excess with the car The lobby is very good but rooms very old condition.i thought it's a joke in he beginning. Very average restaurant downstairs Far from the old city Stay away people

Noisy AC which wasn't really working, construction all over the place so taxi can not pick you up or drop off in front of the hotel. I emailed them asking to check in earlier and nmo one ever responded. They didn't want to give me a room before 3pm. Not even half an hour or so...

Shabby room, heat didn't work. Staff gave us portable heater and extra blankets. Halls cold.

Very good customer service! wonderfull spirit of old Brussels in the each detail... Great central location and amazing architecture...

The floors were squeaky, wifi horrible, AC barely worked, and staff was not very friendly. Not a five star hotel, and would not recommend

Beautiful old world hotel, classic interior, grand terrace, near grand place

I liked the hotel´s construction very much, staff was helpful, room was ample and clean and the location is really great. I wish they had more tourism promotion services like advertised guided tours in the lobby. Overall great experience for a reasonable price!

The rooms have a heavy fabric smell. DOors won't work properly and Wi-fi is a pain.

Hotel is extremely old and dirty. In need of a major renovation. Rooms are dirty and musty. Hallways smell. How can a four star hotel have an old box style tv? Haven't seen one in 15 years. Staff was rude. Area was sketchy. It was so bad that we check out and went to a different hotel.

What a fantastic hotel and staff. Would say that this is one of the best hotels in Brussels. We did however have a couple of issues. The weather was very cold the week we were there and the room was cold. We ask them to look into it but the temperature did not improve. This would not be an issue if you were traveling in warmer months. The room was gorgeous but unfortunately our room was close to the main elevator which has the old fashion metal scissor type accordion door and every time someone would closed it- it would make a banging noise. Often this would start at 5:30AM and would wake us up. A room away from the elevator would solve this issue. Even if you are not staying there it is worth a visit to view the magnificent lobby.

Dear AS, thank you for sharing your feelings regarding your recent stay in Hôtel Métropole. We are deeply sorry to learn that it did not bring you entire satisfaction. We noted your remark about the room allocated and add it to the renovation program that we are following. For the construction around, we can only apology as it is an initiative from the city of Brussels and there is unfortunately nothing we can do to change the actual situation. We hope that you will give us a chance to welcome you again in our hotel. Best regards
