Very nice classical hotel, close to the city centre. Nice staff and the complementary breakfast is truly good. Large rooms, great shower, firm beds. All in all, am excellent hotel to stay in during a Brussels weekend.
Really nice hotel. Fairly small and friendly. Reception staff speak excellent English, which is just as well since my French is abysmal, unfortunately at breakfast the language barrier did show a little. There is a good variety of choice for the included breakfast, bearing in mind the size of the hotel, though if things get used up, dont expect them to be replenished. It pays to have an early breakfast! The Louis XVI styling of the hotel is amazing and the rooms are not only a good size but well fitted out. Regard service, there was a problem with the built in hair dryer which I mentioned to reception as we went for breakfast and when we returned to our room there was a knock at the door and a standard hair dryer was supplied. All in all a very good hotel in a good location close to bars, cafes and restaurants
The room is clearly outdated (stains on carpet, old furniture) but quite big, I was in the back which is better than the street side because of the noise. The parking (self parking) is very ex pensive though. There is no restaurant on premises but there are walkable options nearby. Room service was too limited. Breakfast is quite basic especially for the high price asked. No vegetable milk, limited selection of pastries and complicated layout of the breakfast self service.
Located very near to the city centre apart from that fact I thought the hotel was pretty average. The rooms very ok, breakfast was again not so good & staff also being not very helpful. overall a average hotel and definitely not a 4 star.
This hotel is dated, carpets in the rooms are stained and some of the furniture is damaged. We booked a double room and were given a twin room. There was never a sufficient amount of breakfast for the number of people staying, having been there for 3 mornings. Each morning, food had run out, even though we were there for 9am each day... no bacon, no egg, no butter, no bread, then by the third day, we were told they had no orange juice and no hot chocolate. Anything that was out was cold. We had to pay to have breakfast elsewhere after already paying to have it here! When I complained about this, they said there was nothing they could do. I have stayed in many 4/5 star hotels before and this is by far the worst.
My room was on the back side of the property overlooking the garden area. It was super quiet. I was in town for a 3day conference and my colleagues staying at another hotel just down the street from me had rooms on the street and all complained about the noise. This made my experience that more wonderful. Breakfast buffet was wonderful too. Great selection of food and wonderful coffee all served by a very attentive server. I would stay here again.
Weekend stay to visit Christmas market. Really lovely classic olde worlde hotel within easy walking distance of centre and main attractions. Very clean, comfortable room and a superb breakfast. Friendly staff. I would recommend and would have no hesitation in staying there again.
It's a very nice, family owned hotel close to Louse, just few minutes walking to famous shopping and restaurant area of Brussels. Metro station is also on a 5 min. walking distance. Hotel offers very nice, antique style spacious rooms will good amenities. Breakfast is ok. Staff is always friendly and ready to assist any time. I asked for ironing of my costumes and it was done almost immediately, without any extra charge. Prices are quite affordable. Highly recommend for business travelers, as well as, for family vacationers. The only con is not having gym within the building.
Very nice old style hotel not far from the city centre. The room was nice and cozy. The breakfast had very nice quality. I would reccomend it to all business or couples travelling. There are also a lot of restaurants and cafes around in a small walking distance.
