Very nice old style hotel not far from the city centre. The room was nice and cozy. The breakfast had very nice quality. I would reccomend it to all business or couples travelling. There are also a lot of restaurants and cafes around in a small walking distance.
spent one night for business purpose this hotel is great if you like old fashion design the room was quite very clean and comfortable you can even plug a usb key on the tv and watch your own movies high quality bed I slept very well the staff is friendly and helpful breakfast was excellent I definitely will come back
I have stayed in this hotel a couple of times in the past and was glad to see that nothing had changed... it is probably the most welcoming hotel in Brussels: not too big, extremely convenient (off Avenue Louise), comfortable, pleasant, helpful staff, great breakfast (included). highly recommended!
Great location, very comfortable, great breakfast. Beautiful hotel - the rooms were very impressive as was the Wi-Fi! The breakfast room is very impressive. Location is very central. Service was quick and efficient. Would defiantly recommend.
Old style hotel, with lovely interior, oil paintings, chandeliers... Very comfortable room, with nice little terrace (on the first floor only). Clean. Nice, big bathroom. Very good breakfast. Excellent staff. However, a bit far away from the center and EU institutions. Though comfortable, the room / bathroom need a bit of refurbishment...
Stayed only for night but it was a nice experience. It is not the cold business hotel; ambiance is much more traditional in a welcoming way. Receptionists were friendly. Room was super clean and spacious. Overall it was a good choice for a business trip.
We stayed here as family some days ago. It is one of those hotels that are in the category of "with a little bit of investment it could be so much better". Not that it is bad. The location is great - right in the mix of things, close to shopping and plenty of good restaurants. It's easy to get almost anywhere in central Brussels on foot from the hotel. The building itself is quite nice with a good deal of character. The room that we had was nice and spacious, if a bit too heavy on dark colors (carpet). Even though it was facing a busy street we never found the noise disturbing. That's probably because the beds were good that we just slept all the noise away. The bathroom was also adequate, even though I really dislike bathtubs in hotels and much prefer modern glass showers. The overall feel was good, even if in some areas one could see a need for renovation or replacement of a few things. The most problematic area was, however, breakfast. It is quite shocking that a 4* hotel can afford to have just one person for the whole restaurant. This led to food trays often being empty or close to that and some items taking a longer than necessary time to be done. Also, when we arrived to breakfast around 10, it felt like we were late to the party: some items were not refilled, appliances turned off and not expected to be used again that morning, etc. The management needs to understand that a person having breakfast at 10 pays the same price as the one who eats at 8. It is not first come, first serve. Good hotel overall and I will not mind staying here again in the future.
good locaiton clean, helpful staff; poor breakfast; antique furniture, old building. lots of restaurants nearby, parking place to be reserved in advance - limited availability, 100 m city parking can help. 800 mt walk distance to hop-on/hop-off bus for city site seeing; rooms are not sound protected - close by tram line disturbs early morning ...
We recently spent two nights here and really enjoyed it. It is a small, charming hotel in a very nice area of Brussels, but still within walking distance of downtown. The room was comfortable and clean and the free breakfast was excellent. The best thing about the hotel is the staff - everyone at the front desk was tremendously helpful in suggesting restaurants and helping us plan our days.
Stayed in Manos Stephanie two times. Excellent service, at reception - always knows all answers and no problem with ordering taxi. Good breakfast. the only disadvantage - lack of fresh vegetables. Only fruits. Very cozy room, nice bathroom. Amazing view from the room - got the feeling that I am in the heart of Brussels :) Would definitely recommend and return myself.
