Better than what I expected. Very clean and comfortable.

Amazing hotel! Great location, great service. Beautiful accommodations!

Perfect location, just 5-10 minute walk to the city center. Hotel room was spacious nice and clean. Staffs were cordial and do their best to help you. However, the speed of service was pretty slow - we were trying to check out as soon as possible to catch a train and they did not have flexibility to accommodate us faster and almost missed the train.

The hotel is nice, the decor is antique, but nice. My room was huge, and I do mean huge. Break is ok, not the best, but not the worse. Location is near all attractions. My husband and I walked everywhere because is near everything even though purchased the metro/train pass but most important because the metro is SCARY. If I ever go back, I will just take the taxi from the main train station, its about 12 to 15 euros. Dont take the METRO, its scary, the people there are just watching your stuff, wallet, basically WATCH you stuff. Metro is scary, would not recommend, and its sad because I have travelled just about all Europe and always use public transportation, but in Brussels, no way!!!

Beautiful old style hotel which needs some renovation to remain a 5 star.

Comfortable room, but was unable to get good climate control in the room. The neighborhood was not quite as nice as the hotel, but a nice walk to the Grand Place.

The hotel is the classidal luxury hotel with a magnificent hall that rminded me of Hollywood comedies of the fifties. However the room was very small to accomodate three people and we had to ask the staff to get the third bathrobe and slippers. Positive things: good position, gentle and collaborative staff at the reception, free wifi.

Walking distance to the central Midi station and all staffs were very cordious and helpful. The rooms were very clean and beds were very comfortable as well; fully satisfied!

Well located, confortable, with an excellent staff. No noise from other rooms, but had some streer noise. Resturant has excellent staff and very good food.

The hotel & my room were beautiful, double windows to keep out noise, didn't use the A/C but it's portable so may be noisy. Location was great because I could take the train from the airport to Gare du Nord, walk 10 minutes to hotel on a safe wide street plus just around the corner from a tour bus, short walk to the central sights. Only things missing were a pamphlet with list of services (like where gym was); no hot water pot with cups so couldn't make my own coffee; no ironing board in room; Wi-Fi very expensive (although there are rates that would include free Wi-Fi), and they required an additiional hold on my credit card of 50 euros (app. $80) per night for incidentials even though I wanted no incidentials (I refused since it was pre-paid, but still had to argue to get it reduced to a total of 50 euros for 4 nights because I did not have that much extra available on my credit card). They must not be set up to refuse someone signing a bill to their room in the bar, for example, so they want some credit reserved for those charges & use of in-room bar.

The bed was uncomfortable and 20 years old.. not to mention.. they gave me two singles instead of a queen bed.. yes.. one was available.. I checked. The food made me sick to my stomach and they refused to take any of it off the bill.By the way.. 3 adult book stores on that street.. I'm not a prude, but this is supposed to be a 5 star hotel. And they were out out of ketchup and chocolate ice cream. How do you run out of chocolate anything in Belgium.Someone [...]should get fired....NEVER EVER AGAIN..!!!!!!

"It Was The Best of Times, It Was the Worst of Times". Hotel Le Plaza is a very attractive hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel is in the middle of several blocks of adult shops, and is a ten to fifteen minute walk from major attractions. If you will are traveling for business, or taking cabs everywhere, it will be fine. If you are looking to see the sights, and are less than intrepid, it may not be a good choice.

The room was a large King on the 5th floor as requested. Extremely clean and well kept. Opened to the courtyard, very quiet and nicely appointed. Large bath, with everything you could need including robe and slippers. Easy to navigate the rest of Brussels...took the trains to Bruge and Amsterdam. Would return and recommend for the price.

very nice hotel. It's a little older but upkept quite well. Very soft beds, nice staff, great location to the major shopping part, the main square, and lots of great food. Close to the peeing statue and comic book muesum. Over all very nice stay, no problems.

It was a wonderful place to return to after a day of sightseeing.

VERY CLOSE TO GRAND PLACE SQUARE AND IN THE HEART OF THE CITY! THIS IS AN OLD WORLD HOTEL THAT IS FIRST CLASS IN EVERY WAY. THE HOTEL DESERVES A 5 STAR RATING!

First rate deal

lock the door after 11 pm, if doorman not there no one will open the door for you even there are a few stuffs there in the lobby. Bathroom has no curtain for the window, no curtain for the bathtub. 25 EUR for breakfast.

The hotel just as advertised on their web site...old world classic design and luxury feeling. The location is just far enough away from the touristy area and the metro is less than 300 feet away. Staffs speak english and was very helpful. We had problem with the internet connection at the room and it cost us 30 euro for 24hrs and we were only able to have a semi working connection for about 2hrs. The internet company is separate from the hotel management. For the price we paid, I would definitely go back in the future. Just make sure you request a non-street room because it somewhat noisy at point. Early check-in for us at 11am was not a problem because our room was ready and we didn't paid any extra early check-in fees.

This hotel was great. Large rooms by European standards, very clean and very elegant. Staff was very courteous at all times and helpful. This hotel is within a short walk of the downtown restaurant sections. No need to use a taxi or your own car.
