Hotel Du Congres

There are lots of positive things about this hotel - the location is perfect, the staff are really friendly and helpful, and the small courtyard is absolutely lovely! We stayed in a room for three and were really satisfied with the service.

I spent a weekend at Hotel du Congres with my son. The main building of the hotel looks fine, but a lot of rooms are outside of the hotel in other buildings. So you have to leave the hotel to go to your room in another building, which is a small hassle when you have breakfast included. The building I stayed at was one door further, with steep stair case. Rooms are very noisy due to no insulation what so ever. People using the stairs at night will definitely wake you up even without them having a conversation. Was ok for a weekend but did not sleep well and would not book this hotel again for this price.

This hotel is ideally situated within walking distance of Montmartre, with metro near by . This is my favourite area of Paris as it harbours my childhood memories which I wanted to share with my son . The rooms are basic but had tea making facility. Breakfast was not included in the price so we had our coffee and croissant looking up at the Sacre Coer . The staff were very pleasant and helpful .

What a wonderful and hospitable place. It was very clean and staff went above and beyond to help and advise on the "best" places to see. Very affordable place to spend your time in Brussels. A bit of a walk to certain districts but very convenient overall. I give it a 5!!!!

I need to say that I'm very picky when selecting hotels. I love clean rooms and super clean bathrooms. Honestly, the staff of the hotel is very kind, helpful, and flexible and the rooms are clean and spacious. The only small disadvantage I found concerns the noises during the night. As the rooms are very close to each other, it can happen that you can hear when someone opens or shuts the door of the room next to you. Fortunately, I was very lucky and this disadvantage did not prevent me from rating my 5-night stay in the hotel with 5 stars. I would definitely stay in this hotel again. Totally worth it!!!!!! :)

Overall, this was for us the best experience in Brussels, when looking for a quiet, clean en friendly family type hotel. - friendly staff, Always ready to give advise. - Clean and comfortable room. - Still in de centre of Brussels. - Excellent price quality. - Good and complete breakfast.

Hotel was spacious and very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful, giving us lots of information about the city. There was free wifi which was excellent and the location was great. There was no air conditioning but with the windows open was quite cool. Would stay here again.

Very nice boutique type Hotel, right in the center of Brussels, in close, walking distance, to the major sites of the city. I loved the decor of the public areas and of the room I stayed in. The street where the hotel is in, is very quiet and there is a little square with small restaurants just around the corner. There is also Madou metro station close by, but I never used it. The staff were very nice and the breakfast excellent. The wifi in the room was also very good. and the bed super comfortable. On the down side, the room I was in, which faced the street, had no a/c and it could get quite hot, albeit the temperatures were around 15º C max.. I suppose it may get uncomfortably hot when the temperatures rise, as in the summer. Overall a very good experience. Would return and recommend!

My single room on the third floor was accessed by a small lift which duly matched the size of the bedroom and en-suite bathroom... small! The in-house Wi-Fi capacity was also in line with the whole experience - low bandwidth at circa 1Mb/s upload and download. All of the above said, the facilities were all clean and the (small!) single bed comfortable enough for a one night stay. Noise from the adjoining streets was acceptable, although increased somewhat when it was necessary to open the bedroom window a crack to get additional cool air during the night. Overall I would say this property offers good value for money at the available rates, which include an adequate buffet breakfast, especially given its central location in Brussels.

Hotel in centre.Good foe business guests. It's good because it's affordable on price side, and good clean and quiet. The staff is unobtrusive wants to hear the guests. The hotel serves the purpose for guests who need a hotel for the night after a hard day in the city.
