Close to public transportation system stops. room had 2 wide windows and comfortable bed. Friendly and helpful staffs. The public area in hotel (ex. Lift) were dark and not enough lights. The price is high.
good hotel for a short stay easy to commute every where mainly business people room are ok large and comfortable local area is ok not a lot to do and hotel is on main road road so there is the sound of traffic
Stayed there for a short trip to Brussels. Staff was very helpful, rooms are fine, but somehow 1970's style... They could definitively do with some upgrades, especially on decoration - bathroom was somehow a shock... In summary, good for what you pay, but not exceptionnal.
I have stayed at the Lambermont for business several times over the past year and a half, and it is still my favorite in Brussels. I discovered this place by accident a couple of years ago when the usual places downtown were booked. I travel a lot for business, and after awhile all of the big hotels feel a bit impersonal and sterile - so what is different here? You will not find a kinder group of people than this staff, and I'm honored to now call them my friends. It was cold this time of year and I enjoyed sitting by the fire in the lounge area with a toasted sandwich and a fine glass of wine. The tram and bus come just outside the door, easy to get to our offices in Strombeek, and tickets can be purchased at the desk. There is a lovely park within easy walking distance with good walking trails. The rooms are clean, the wifi fast, and the beds extremely comfortable. The breakfast as usual was excellent - nobody makes better eggs or baked apples - and the breakfast room is lovely and cheerful. You can find fancier places if that is what you want - but nowhere will welcome you as warmly, or make you feel as much at home, as the Lambermont.
I booked the hotel, knowing it is a budget hotel and not expecting to much luxury. The reception is friendly and mulitlanguage. The bar is small, but suits the goal perfectly. The rooms were modern and the bed was very good. Downsides were the room temprature (hot), the dated bathroom and the noise from outside (near hospital, so sirens and busy traffic). In the morning I noticed that the shower was fairly cold, with knobs that were not clear on how to turn them. We booked multiple rooms and the other rooms did have hot water, so I guess it was only my room. The showerhead was spraying all directions except down, so I think a refit is needed. Breakfast was good, but not special and fairly pricy at 18,- Euro. Although the hotel was not what I expected, I may give it another go with earplugs and hoping to have a room with a working shower, because the price is very attractive.
Hotel was booked for a two business trip. Location was good for my needs. Was dropped off and picked up so have no idea about the parking possibilities. The receptionist was friendly. The room was spacious and clean. Bed was good and there was no noticeable noise from the street. My room was on the first (107) on the front of the building. The breakfast was very good. Points for improvement, the TV is very small (22 inch), not what would be expected. The shower, looks like something from the TV show "Lost in Space". 4 knobs and a massive shower head but also a handheld shower head. This would not be a problem but there was no hot water and no matter which knob was adjusted it didn't help. This was all so the case by my callegue in room 105. For business I would stay here again and probably will
Every now and then life brings a delightful surprise, and this little hotel is one of them. At first appearance, the building is a humble one, but my experience this week has been a bit like falling in love. The staff - particularly M Paco, and each and every person I met - are caring, kind and helpful; the breakfast (in a cheerful room with lovely wood) is homemade and delicious, especially the eggs and "Pommes Grand-Mere;" there is an espresso maker in the room; there is a pretty lounge with fresh flowers and good wine. The area is residential so it is unusual to find a hotel in its midst, but to me it was delightful to hear school children coming and going at the ends of the day. There is an excellent small grocery, pastry shop, and laundry quite close by, as well as an excellent local restaurant, "Brasserie Cochaux." It's as if all of the above were conspiring to give the guests a happy week, and I have lost my heart to the Lambermont. The staff were beginning to feel like my friends and I was sad to leave. I shall be back.
Clean room, decent breakfast with eggs, bacon, and the usual selection of cold cuts. No restaurant, but at the bar you can get toasted sandwiches which they will bring to your room. I first had a room where the toilet suddenly started to smell but I got moved to a different room immediately that was much nicer. The rooms could use some more decoration... as in, any at all... comfy bed though, and the rooms have a minifridge that is not full to the brim with overpriced beer, so you can actually put some own stuff in.
it is in a not busy area, but many rooms are exposed on 2 very congested street (but not very much during the night); but overall, they are not equipped with darken curtains, so you have night light (from steet lamps) coming into the room: it was quite hard for me to sleep. I changed the room and the ones in the backyard are better, but more expensive. anyway it is clean and the personnel is very kind. breakfast good, not very rich compare to its price (14€) and attention to ask for toasts during the day: they costs 8€ each!!! (only ham and cheese). it is well connected to any part of Bruxelles, but nearby there aren't shops and restaurants. wi fi ok and speedy.
I have stayed at the Lambermont each time I visited Brussels over the last 6 years. The hotel stands out because it has the most amazing, caring staff who will do anything to make your stay comfortable. They always make me feel they remember me when I come to stay. The ambiance of the hotel is also top class, beautiful flowers and the bar is the perfect place to relax and have a nice glass of GOOD wine after a long day. I now feel totally at home when I come to stay.
