The property is below the standard of any other Marriott I've stayed at around the world. Our missing and broken services did not seem unique to our experience. We could hear other people at the front desk, and calling in, reporting issues. The response of the staff to these reports was inadequate. The internet was weak, which apparently had been an issue for 2 months. My room phone had a message that could not be retrieved my entire stay. These are only some of the issues. Overall very poorly staffed and managed.
Rooms are in need of a refresh. Great location.
The best location which close to Grand Place with all varieties of foods and shops.
Large quiet clean room with on-time service. Great experience. Highly recommend it.
I had a great stay. The hotel is centrally located to tourist attractions such as museums, palace, shopping, etc. Its actually an easy walk from the hotel to these attractions. The hotel food tasted great but pricey (as with all hotels) so if you want a less expensive options, you can walk to other options.
We absolutely love our experience at the Marriot Grand Place. First you a just a block away from the Grand Plaza, dozens of shops and restaurants. The Train Station, which we used several days is 5 to 10 minute walk from the hotel and the metro is a few blocks. The Marriot staff were helpful with tourist suggestions and directions. I would highly recommend it for a family like us or even for a business trip

Pros: clean and good location Cons: did not get the room we booked and staff needs to get their act together. Could be loud neighrhood at night. We stayed in this hotel for one night. We booked a family suite because we were traveling with our two children. Our flights were severely delayed, which caused us to get to the hotel at midnight. There was a huge middle eastern wedding going on with roudy children and adults all over the common areas. However, we were assured that our suite will be quiet. It took the staff a few tries to give us working keys to the room. When we arrived the room turned out to be a small standard room with two full beds. When we went back to the check in staff we were told that we have two adjoining rooms, but they forgot to give us the key. Again the first could of tried we were given dead keys. In the end we got rooms different from the description and had to go through hassle to get even that. In addition there is a club or all night bar next door. All night we heard drunk people yelling. In the morning we walked over to Manikin Pis where we witnessed drunk kids pour yellow paint over the statue.
Nice and clean hotel just a short walking distance to the city center. Friendly staff.
We stayed for over a week while on location. Room was comfortable, quiet and clean. Location is great - only a few blocks from the Grand Plac and right by the subway stop. Easy access to everything. Uber also works great in a pinch.
I would to say that all staff at the front office are outstanding, helpful, and very professional in their interactions with the hotel guests. I checked in on Saturday June 18, 2016 the young man at the front office was extremely helpful, patient, and very courteous.
Hotel is in a great location with a great staff. Highly recommended!
