Radisson Brunei is a delightful hotel that provides a comfortable night's respite. The front desk staff and bellhop were very friendly and welcoming. Warmest welcome I've ever received and made me feel like they genuinely were happy to see me walk through their doors. This is my first Radisson property I've ever stayed in and it definitely won't be my last!
Radisson might be a good stay but it lacks of service quality as promised. Having jet-lag issue tried hard to reach breakfast venue at 10.25am but we were declined entry and hotel staff starts wrapping things up (where it actually still have 5mins left) and have to left with empty stomach (especially when my wife are suffering gastric issue)! Called front desk and they only manage to offer Ala Carte room service breakfast when we actually have breakfast included in our hotel stay. So ridiculous, such nonsense! Sincerely guess the stars is overrated.
Went to darusalam for a short trip over the weekend. Had a great stay at Radisson - very friendly staff. Fast check in / check out. Nice pool side with restaurant. Good gym - great massage at the spa - clean rooms
Warm welcome, personal service and great staff. Always good to come back to this Radisson hotel. The staff are second to none and go out of their way to be of assistance. Rooms and general hotel are clean and bright. Will stay again.
Room was nice and pleasant, location was nice, breakfast spread nice, Gym was accessible and had all the required equipment. Book this one for overall 5 star experience in the beautiful city of Brunei.
There aren’t many hotels in BSB but this is reputed to be the best and I’m glad I stayed here. It’s in easy walking distance of most of the sights of BSB. The staff are excellent, really smiley, helpful and welcoming. Even though it’s 12.30 a.m. when I arrive the hotel receptionist is still happy to phone a tour guide and arrange a trip for me the following morning. The room isn’t stunning, but is comfortable and has everything I need. The restaurant is good. The buffet is a delicious fusion of noodles, sushi, local fish and marinated beef.
Centrally located, well managed business hotel. Staff is sincerely helpful and friendly. Room and bathroom clean. Bed is comfortable. Anyone can find what they want in breakfast buffet either local or international varieties. Go to Brunei.
I am not surprised this is the best rated hotel in Brunei. I stayed here for 3 days in Jan 2018 for a business trip. Right from the time I was received by the hotel taxi (outsourced) till the time I was dropped back (I took a hotel cab back to the airport too) - I was pretty impressed with how professionally this hotel is run. Note, Brunei - Bandar Seri Begawan is a quiet and small town - don't expect the jazz you see in big cities. Its pretty laid back and slow in all aspects. So you will be even more surprised how prompt the staff is out here in the hotel and how well this place is run. Check in - very quick and prompt. I was offered a free upgrade to a deluxe room too. Breakfast - nothing spectacular but met its purpose. Good clean setup, staff was attentive and fast Dinner buffet - tried it once, nothing spectacular again, but good tasty food with a choice across local, asian and western options. Housekeeping - very prompt. Room was serviced as soon as I had the "Service My Room" light on. Candik Spa - if you are tired from a long flight - do try to Candik Spa - they are on level 1 and offer good massage services to relieve travel fatigue. (Note - you are in Brunei, so as per the law you only get same sex masseurs). Check out - I requested for a delayed check out, which was immediately confirmed. They were proactive in asking if i needed an airport drop. I was late coming back to check out, but they has my bill ready and the taxi was on standby for a prompt check out. I didn't try to sauna or swimming pool. But it looked quite busy - so it must have been pretty good. If you plan to visit Bandar Seri Begawan, look no further, this is the only place to stay!
I used free shuttle bus to the mall. It was good. Room was clean and survice was good. We can use taxi to the airport, but I used bus. The bus stop is near the hotel. They tell me so kindly. Just one doller.
My husband and I decided to visit Brunei for 6 nights after Christmas and chose the Radisson due to its great reviews. We were absolutely delighted with our stay, thanks in large part to the amazingly personal and friendly service we received from every staff member we encountered. Nothing was ever too much trouble and the staff anticipated our needs on so many occasions. The room was clean, comfortable and peaceful, despite being on a busy road. The pool and gym were wonderful and the buffet breakfast delicious. Most of the major attractions are within walking distance, with shuttle services provided to major shopping districts. The hotel is the perfect base from which to explore this lovely country, and I really hope to go back one day to this lovely hotel!
