The city of Enschede (45 km) is a must for a day trip due to a remarkably large selection of stores, restaurants and bars. Just across the border in Germany you will find the fascinating nature reserve Itterbecker Heide (10 km), the forest bath and open-air museum Bronzezeithof in Uelsen (20 km) and the historic town of Lingen (54 km).
