Welcome to our custom-built luxury retreat in the heart of VT on 22 acres! Our enchanting 3-bed, 3.5-bathouse is tailor-made for travelers seeking comfort and tranquility. Perfect for families and small groups to unwind and connect with each other and nature and enjoy an amazing Vermont experience!

Centrally located within 35 minutes of VT's finest skiing - Killington, Okemo & Saskadena Six – and 20 minutes to Woodstock, one of New England’s most charming towns.

Dogs welcome with a $100 fee.

The area is perfect for unwinding and peaceful and quiet. The property resides on 22 private acres with the Willow Brook running at the edge of the property.

When it is time to step away from the property, the richness of Windsor County is all around. There are 5 ski resorts under 35 minutes including world-class Okemo and Killington and kid-friendly Pico and Saskedena Six.

There are ample outdoor activities including snow tubing, hiking, mountain biking 10 minutes away at Ascutney Outdoors, and many swimming holes and lakes, horseback riding, and road biking in the region.

Woodstock, one of Condénast’s most beautiful towns in America, is a 20 minutes away and includes fine dining, charming shops, galleries, cultural institutions, and golfing.

Dartmouth College in Hanover and the famed King Arthur Bakery and Montshire Science Museum in Norwich are under 35 minutes.

A truly unique local store, the Brownsville Butcher and Pantry, is 5 minutes away and has all provisions necessary to supply any home-cooked meal and also makes delicious prepared food and sandwiches.

We continue to be inspired by the special community of West Windsor who pooled funding to purchase and manage the local mountain ski resort. The resilience and compassion of the town’s volunteers draw people year-round, from endurance runners and mountain bikers in the warm months to skiers in the winter.

Guests can use the entire property with the exception of the locked closet under the stairs and the closet by the laundry room (both on the lower level).

Ascutney Outdoors is 10 minutes away for local skiing and snow tubing. After a day of carving through the snow, return to the warmth of our mountain haven for a cozy evening by the fireplace.

The house is sited on the highest point of the property - approximately 1100 feet off a public road, so we strongly recommend an all wheel drive car in the winter and mud season.

Guests may use the indoor wood stove if they certify that they will do so safely and will be responsible for any damage due to its use or misuse.

Bringing your pup along? They are totally welcome with an additional $100 pet fee. Just let us know if you'll be bringing your pet along when you make your reservation.

Please note that Cloudborne Cabin is a non-smoking residence (both inside and out). Any violation of this rule will result in a $500 fine.
