Broughton Studio was a lovely, cosy haven with everything we needed for a fantastic stay. Doug and Elizabeth had thought of everything we might need with the fire set ready for us to light when we arrived. Communication was excellent. Would whole heartedly recommend.

An amazing stay

This was such an amazing property to stay at. We loved the beautiful garden, chickens, gorgeous little studio and fireplace. It was so cosy and super clean. The hosts Doug and Liz were so lovely too. Would definitely stay here again :)

Beautiful and cosy!

My partner and myself loved our little weekend getaway at Liz and Dougs' - the roaring fireplace upon our arrival was a lovely touch, as well as the complimentary breakfast (nothing beats fresh eggs from the coop!). We'd love to visit again :)

Really liked the out of the way location down the back roads. A well layed out large room with a comfy bed, fireplace that heats the room very well and the well-spaced kitchenette. The bathroom was a tad cool in winter though, but a generous hot shower overcomes that.

A return stay for me

This property is very comfortable, meticulously maintained and private. About 5 minutes out of Berry, the Studio is tucked away on hectares of lush lawns, ponds and beautiful trees. Doug and Liz are excellent hosts. Thanks

An exceptional retreat!

Broughton Studio is a wonderful retreat complete with a fabulous mahogony and leather desk for those who need working space. The studio was immaculate, private, and extremely well appointed. The addition of breakfast was a lovely treat and the hosts were extremely welcoming. One of the best places I have rented for a short stay and I hope to return again to Broughton Studio.

What a great find as a base to spend a few days in this gorgeous area. The Studio is clean, incredibly well appointed & in a perfectly picturesque & quiet location only a short distance from Berry. Comfortable and quiet haven

Great escape from the rat race. Generously appointed and spacious room for a couple, we had a lovely quiet weekend. Beautiful property in a beautiful part of the world. Cant wait to return.

Cosy solitude

This lovely studio had everything I could need - a range of teas, instant, ground & pod coffee, selection of breakfast cereals, fresh fruit, bacon, local bread & eggs from the owner's farm, chocolates, milk & fruit juice! A very comfortable bed with extra doona supplied, a full laundry & modern bathroom with heated towel rails. Well-stocked kitchen. It was beautifully decorated with a large comfy sofa. Lots of reading material & smart tv with Netflix. Could happily stay in the accommodation without venturing out much. 5 minutes to town on well-paved roads with access to good cafes. Room to roam on the farm's 5 acres. Lovely hosts, Liz & Doug, who were welcoming but respecting of privacy. Would be great in the colder months too with a fireplace. No negatives at all. Will be back when I can.

A tranquil escape

We were immediately comfortable at Broughton Studio. Everything was as expected from the website. It was the perfect base for us to explore the area and lovely to be able to come back to such a cosy cottage. We found it very peaceful there - and 2 nights away felt like a lot longer. We went home feeling very relaxed - which was just what we needed. Thanks Elizabeth for your hospitality and the generous breakfast provisions.

Exploring Berry

The location and accommodation were lovely. The host's communication was amazing and friendly. We will definitely stay again. We loved the space within the Cabin and the privilege of being able stroll around the beautiful gardens.

Beautiful Property

This absolutely exceeded expectations. The studio is very cozy and has everything you need and more. The fridge came stocked with breakfast (fresh eggs, bacon, bread, butter, fruit). It’s clear the owners have thought about all possible things to ensure your stay is as amazing as possible. Not only is the studio excellent but the property is absolutely beautiful. We found ourselves sitting outside admiring the nature a lot.

Wonderful break at The Studio

Just got back from a relaxing 3 night stay at The Studio. So happy we found this beautiful place. The Studio was fabulous, so well appointed and immaculately presented. Our every need was catered to with a great choice of cereals, eggs, bacon, fruit and bread for breakfast through to chocolates and even umbrellas if required. The Studio is located in a lovely, quiet and secluded area surrounded by lush vegetation that made it a pleasure to start and end each day by having breakfast or a drink on the patio.Doug and Liz couldn't have been more helpful.I would highly recommend it as a wonderful place to stay and will definitely be heading back there again soon!
