A perfect holiday home for groups of friends or an extended family, to enjoy the ambience of a village style seaside resort in either summer or winter. Broadstairs, named after the “broad stairs” carved in the cliff that led from the sands to the 12th century shrine of St Mary, boasts seven beaches, three of which are holders of the coveted 2010 Blue flag Award presented to Europe’s top coastal destinations. Ron’s House overlooks one such award winning beach - the quiet sandy “Stone Bay” offering 200 metres of golden sand, rock pools and a promenade. The property has some wonderful sea views, the kitchen/breakfast room has been fully renovated in 2022 and the bathroom in 2021 making this an amazing place to spend your holidays!.

Broadstairs popular Folk Week Festival runs annually in August, and if you’re visiting Broadstairs with teenagers then Revolution Skate Park which operates out of Viking Bay is well worth a visit. There are also climbing and BMX sessions available. For walkers and cyclists alike, join the Thanet Coast Viking Trail – part of route 15 of the National Cycle Trail, and no trip to Broadstairs would be complete without a visit to a seafront ice cream parlour and watching the dazzling fireworks on a summer evening. Shop, pubs and restaurants 1/4 mile.

Ron’s House Broadstairs

We loved this house, which we booked for our Golden Wedding with all our family. The breakfast room was stunning and a wonderful space, also the new bathrooms. The welcome basket was a lovely gesture on the part of the owner. The position is second to none! We shall be back!

Lovely large house on the sea front.

This large 5 bed house was just right for an extended family holiday by the sea. A lovely sandy beach just across the road and Broadstairs town centre a short walk away. Our family loved the games room and the view from the windows at the front of the house. The owner and his agent were both very friendly and helpful. We have already booked it again for next year. As a family from the Netherlands we’ve been going to England in spring for many years, so we’ve seen many holiday homes. One house is more beautiful than the other. We’ve experienced disappointments and positive surprises. The house that we were able to rent this year (Ron’s House) puts all previous ones behind. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised, beautiful house, beautifully maintained garden, Entering the house there was in the kitchen a welcome package everything was available to prepare meals for 10. First and second floor excellent beds in clean rooms. Last but not least the location, views right on the beach. Center of Broadstairs within walking distance with its restaurants and pubs. In short a big compliment to the owner.
