Nice hotel in within walking distance of the city center. However, you need to be a fan of very hard mattresses - apparently the same in all rooms. Back yard parking was in the middle of a demolition site.

Hotel Arte - great place to stay

Really nice hotel in a great location, with really helpful and friendly staff. Within spitting distance of a park, a 5 minute walk to the tram and a 15 minute walk into the centre.

Interesting hotel a bit out of the tourist area.

The hotel is about 2 min by foot from the railway station and not hard to find. We enjoyed the room, though it was an older building and a design to fit the available space. Not hard to adapt to, though people expecting a chain 4 star may be disappointed. We actually preferred the location and atmosphere. No special bargain on price, though.

Two short stays at Hotel Arte in Sept and Oct

We were disappointed that the hotel was well into the city but that is us. Luck we had a car rental wit a GPS. The staff were both kind and helpful every time we stayed. Lucky for us the hotel has a number of parking spaces right in front of the hotel. The condition of the hotel was good and convenient. We had another excellent experience after leaving the hotel. We only had a few hours to drive to Prague to return the rental car. We were trying to find our way out of the city. At a light another motorist came to the driver window and told my wife our tire was going flat. At a second light this happened again. What to do. Being resourceful I saw a Skoda dealer and went into the showroom. Two of the staff took over and drove our car into the shop, onto the hoist and while it was up put air in the tires and checked the flat tire for leaks. Then they drove it outside and gave us a hug. How many cities would those things happen in? We love the people in the Czech republic because we were treated so well.

Absolutely Wonderful!

My wife and I stayed in the Hotel Arte on an anniversary trip to Brno and it was a perfect experience. The hotel is lovely, and the room we stayed in was enormous, nicely decorated, and very comfortable altogether. The staff are friendly and obliging. I contacted the hotel before the trip to arrange a nice treat for the anniversary day itself, and Eve, who I spoke to was very helpful and willing to arrange something custom and special. When we arrived she was entirely discreet to keep it a surprise, but found a moment to speak with me to finalise the details, and make sure it all went to plan. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the old town centre, close to the popular Villa Tugendhat, and in a nice neighbourhood with a great park right adjacent. Can't recommend this hotel highly enough. Stop browsing listings and just stay here.

Great hotel for the money

We stayed for about 10 days and we were pleased with the Hotel. The staff was very friendly and very willing to help you with all your needs. It was a very small intimate hotel and I loved that. It is a bit too far from the the town center but the cab rides were 5 minutes. All in all we had a great time there.

We enjoyed our stay at Arte. The breakfast was one of the better we've found in Brno. The service was especially nice and helpful.....attentive. The parking was a bit of a challenge (in the rear of the hotel)......inside a locked gate once you climb a broken concrete driveway. We would stay in Arte again.
