Beautiful 3 bedroom retreat is located on 320' of private river frontage on the South Holston River; which offers excellent wade fishing and a private boat access for kayaks/canoes.  Great for a family getaway or a group of anglers. This property is offered by Tailwaters Lodge and is just minutes away from the TVA's hiking & biking trails, Bristol Caverns and the South Holston Dam. You can rent a pontoon boat and enjoy the waters of South Holston Lake. Downtown Bristol TN / VA; which is the "home of country music" and the Rhythm and Roots Reunion, has many wonderful restaurants and interesting shops and is just a quick drive away.   The Bristol Motor Speedway is approx. 7 miles from the Retreat. Enjoy the firepit at night after a good day of fishing, hiking, biking, or sightseeing. This is definitely a place for peace and relaxation. Note that the Retreat is equipped with an in-house security and the Ring Camera security system. There is a gravel/dirt road to walk down to the river (approx. 18-40% grade). Vehicles are not allowed to drive down to the river.

Girls Getaway to BRRR

Even if tagged as a Fly Fisher's getaway spot - was perfect for our visit to Bristol for the Music Fest. Ample yard and outdoor living spaces - grill deck & Sunning / Dining deck! Beautiful kitchen, nicely appointed bedrooms & very comfy! The Sun Room is stellar! Easy to work with Prop Mgrs & clear and responsive with communication. LOVED IT!

Relaxing Trip

We were looking for a good place on the South Holsten for fly fishing. My husband enjoyed fishing and having the private access to the river. It was a nice quiet trip.
