Peaceful Private Studio in a convenient location
Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Conveniently located in Shailer Park, which is a nice, safe and family friendly neighbourhood close to a big shopping centre, 4 min off of the M1 Between Brisbane and Gold Coast. Plenty to do in the area like visit the Daisy Hill Koala Wild Life Sanctuary (5min) Play at the local public golf courses (7 and 10 min). Montain bike or hike at the Cornubia Forest Nature Reserve (1min). Our place is only 20min drive to Dream World and Movie World, 20 min the other direction to Brisbane CBD. 10 min drive to the new Logan hospital. Many guests have commented on how much they love relaxing in the private outdoor area. and it's one of my favourite places for my morning meditation when im using the studio!
RULES:
All of our guests must follow local council laws. THIS PROPERTY IS FOR QUIET ENJOYMENT ONLY. No gatherings, parties, or events can be allowed. 7pm-7am are quiet hours. meaning No music, loud tv, loud talking or laughing, yelling, or talking loudly. A good rule of thumb is that the neighbours should not be able to hear you at all. Pets are allowed only in gated area outside unless otherwise approved by the hosts. Even during non quiet hours guest cannot have loud music on or be making excess noise or inconvenience neighbours at anytime.
Extra charges may apply for: • Replacement of lost keys and/or remote controls at cost • Note: All rubbish MUST be bagged hygienically including double bagging soiled nappies and seafood and placed in outside garbage bin • All food items must be removed from the property and all kitchen items must be washed and put away on departure • Soiled linen and items requiring professional laundering • Damages to the property OR common property which has not been reported by email within 2 hours of arrival • A minimum charge of $50 or cost of replacement (which every is greater) is applicable should items be moved from one property to another or moved within a property • Late departures charges of $100 per hour will be applied after 11.00am unless prior arrangement in place • Extra person/s that are in the property who have not been requested or approved will result in immediate termination of booking and no monies will be returned. • Any other incidental charges that may be incurred as per Booking Terms and Conditions
The property is to be used strictly as a residential dwelling for residential purposes by the guest(s) and the number of occupants nominated on the booking. The property is not to be used for any other purpose or by any greater number of occupants. The use of the Property for a function, a party or other like gathering is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. If you use the property for a function, a party or other like gathering or other than as a residential dwelling for residential purposes: 1. Your reservation of the property will be immediately terminated. 2. The Guest(s) and other occupants of the Property will be removed from it , and no monies will be returned.
Excess noise, intoxication, inappropriate language or behaviour that is threatening or unacceptable will not be tolerated. Guests who are behaving inappropriately will be asked to leave the property and no monies will be refunded to the guest.

Disliked: Listing accuracy
I would not recommend this accommodation for someone who does not have the strength and has arthritis as the bed is very low. The lights over the bed and kitchen kept going out and the light in the bathroom. You are unable to get normal TV channels you need to have a subscription for Netflix etc. The kitchen is very small not a lot of preparation room.

The Studio says it sleeps three when in reality it is a Master Bedroom and ensuite with the robe converted to a kitchenette. Stove top only no microwave or oven. Shared laundry. 3rd person was in a cot on the only floor space. Office desk has no power near it. When raining you get very wet opening the door with no eves. Paint fumes if you lock up the room.
Overall we were very comfortable however we are very disappointed at the fact the door was unlocked on our arrival.
Upon further inspection we realised the lock was broken and contacted the owner in the morning as we could not lock the door when we went out .
Unfortunately the door was eventually fixed the day before we were due to leave, meaning that every time we left the property we had to take all our valuables with us.
Very inconvenient and unsafe in general .
We stayed for 3 nights and at the price we were charged I would expect to be able to leave my belongings safe in the knowledge that the property we’ve rented is secure.
The owner was responsive to messages, but repeatedly asked if my husband would look at the door to try and fix it which I found annoying as it’s not our responsibility.
Everything else was fine but I can’t see us staying there again .
