Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The best part f this property was the view.Property needs a thorough deep clean including the cleanliness of cookware and crockery.Needs pest control for large and small cockroaches. Did not enjoy being woken up by a crockroach crawling down my arm in bed.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property itself is very tired , some general maintenance on the windows and doors and the rear gutter on the main bedroom side would be a start.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful location, with amazing sunsets and plenty of fishing.Plenty of space in the home, however the cleanliness was below standard. Everything inside and outside needs a good clean. The view would be great from inside if you could see through the windows. Owner needs spend money on home maintenance. Upstairs toilet blocks up and the air con in the main bedroom broke down and was in poor condition. Lots of cockroaches everywhere, day and night, not just a few, needs a thorough pest spray. The Real Estate staff were wonderful to deal with, easy to deal with and when the air con crapped out, they had a replacement fan within the hour.Also, if you want to cook up some steaks on the barbie, take your own steak knives because there was on a single one.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: To answer the questions put forward from Straddie Sales & Rentals - Did you have a good overall stay? Absolutely, love Amity Point.Was the vacation rental in a great location? Location is hard to beat, any rental along the rock wall is within walking distance to the main park, jetty, all shops and beach - just so easy and being able to watch the sunset every day from the back yard is stunning! Was the home clean and in good shape? The home had a few good points – the bathrooms were all very clean and had which looked like fairly new toilets. The kitchen has had a renovation BUT most of the cutlery, dishes and appliances were dirty. This is where the good points end – unfortunately the house overall is full of mould, dirty, rotting timber under the decks and has a hole in the ceiling downstairs and what looks like one about to merge in the bedroom upstairs. The property description/ amenities was accurate, and damage and cleanliness are all things to consider when choosing a property. Was the vacation rental management staff helpful? I have rented through Straddie Sales & Rentals several times, and each time they have been absolutely delightful to deal with. Noting is a problem – this visit the washing machine was playing up and I had a new one within a few hours! Staff are always so friendly and seem to enjoy their jobs!
