Very charming and beautifully peaceful. Felt like we had stepped into an english cottage garden. Clean, cosy, and everything provided we could have hoped for! River right at bottom of garden and an easy walk to town.

Amazing gardens and easy walking distance to the town. Bed comfy, plenty of room within the unit. The interior just needs some TLC. Just be aware the shower is over the bath, very slippery.

Loved every minute. Left the car and walked everywhere. Could walk all day and not use the same track. Walk into town is 10 minutes max. Perfect stay.

What was once in its day a romantic Tudor Style Accomodation perfect for couples and small families is now a tired and needed renovated shadow of its past. Our room in the Mews was decorated in a 90’s style of ‘opp shop’ style furniture which probably would suit a backpackers communal lounge. The bedroom could also do with a modern twist to its bedding and the bathroom paint stripped back and replaced as it was peeling off some of the walls. But with the decor put aside the ambiance is there to suit loving couples with plenty of firewood supplied for cosy night in after a romantic dinner cooked in the kitchen.
