Step inside and find a bright and airy living room with deep filled sofas and an electric fire for the cooler winter months. Dual-aspect windows flood the room with natural light and offer lovely views of the enclosed garden. Blinds are provided to keep the sun out during the height of summer. Across the hall can be found the dining room with plenty of seating for eight. The modern kitchen is to the rear of the property and provides a host of appliances, there’s even a small breakfast table that sits to one side and is great space for enjoying a morning coffee or a glass or two of wine whilst watching the chef in the group rustle up a delicious evening meal. Sewerby Hall and Gardens, Burton Agnes Hall and Sledmere House and Gardens are all within a short drive of the property and a little further along the coast is Filey and the pretty village of Flamborough with its working lighthouse.
For bird watchers, a visit to RSPB Bempton Cliffs is a must. With miles of walking and cycling routes don’t forget to bring your bikes. The Yorkshire Wolds are waiting to be explored and the historic city of York is also under an hour’s drive away.
