Beautiful, but busy.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A beautiful home in a lovely location. Easy to get to and near the grocery store, but once there we felt like we had really gotten away. The water was blissful with a sandy bottom and easy access for swimming. Lots of birdsong despite the summer camp PA system across the way. Lots of motor boat traffic caused waves and debris in the water due to the narrowness of the pond. Get up early for peaceful kayaking or fishing. Overall, a wonderful place.

Reviewer Comments: This was our third consecutive year staying at this bright and cozy home on Woods Pond, and it continues to be a favorite getaway spot for us. The property description is spot-on—it's a peaceful, well-kept home with a beautiful waterfront location, thoughtfully designed layout, and all the amenities we need for a relaxing stay. The house has always been clean, comfortable, and clearly well cared for. Everything from the kitchen to the outdoor spaces is in great shape, making it easy to settle in and enjoy right away. Krainin and the owner are friendly, responsive, and easy to work with—always making the booking process smooth and stress-free.We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to friends or family looking for a quiet retreat. Over the years, we’ve enjoyed kayaking on the pond, relaxing on the deck, and exploring nearby hiking trails. We’ve also found some great local spots to eat—especially in the Bridgton area, which has a nice mix of casual and sit-down options. Some of our local favorites are Beth’s Kitchen Café for breakfast and lunch, Black Horse Tavern for classic comfort food, and Elevation Sushi and Tacos for a fun mix of Japanese and Mexican flavors.Overall, it’s become a special place for us, and we’re already looking forward to next year’s stay!

We enjoyed fishing, swimming, grilling etc. We enjoyed watching all the activities on the lake and even were graced by an Eagle on the Fourth of July. The fireworks were seen in four different areas of the lake, quite a spectacular event. At night we loved hearing the call of the loons echo over the lake, it was so calming and peaceful. The house is located 15 minutes from town, where there’s plenty of restaurants and grocery amenities.

The fully equipped kitchen made meal preparation a breeze, and the cozy living area was perfect for relaxing after a day of activities. The bedrooms are comfortable and inviting, ensuring a restful night's sleep. What sets this property apart is its location and the access to water activities. The house is situated right on Woods Pond, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. We spent hours enjoying the water, thanks to the provided kayaks, paddleboards, and other gear. The private dock was a highlight, allowing us to easily launch our adventures or simply sit and soak in the beauty of the surroundings. The outdoor space is equally impressive.
