A car is highly recommended but the flat is central to public transportation, approximately 15 minutes walking distance to gas stations/ convenient stores, fast food restaurants and a little further will get you to the US Embassy. It is approximately less than 10 minutes drive from popular beaches like Pebbles & Browne's beach and supermarkets.
