We were amazed at how massive the resort was. It has so much variety and so many things to do.
The villas are really refurbished and the staff is very friendly and available all times. I had a very nice experience. I a coming here all the time since years now.
I stayed in one of the pond villas that was completely remodeled and super nice. The front desk manager Mrs Paterson was really accommodating to my needs and very nice. I dined at the terrace and it was an intimate experience with very good food. I am going to ocean edge for long time now many years and I am very satisfied about it
Property was nice. It’s big so you have to drive back and forth everywhere or wait for the shuttle if it’s going where you need to be. A bit overpriced especially since you pay for everything you do while there and the food and drinks are expensive. Activities were moderately priced (i.e. kayaking, driving range).
No one at the resort cares... Rooms are not clean and leave a lot to be desired. Check in was ok, got to our rooms that both smelled like mold and mildew and very dirty and old bathrooms as well as a dusty bedroom and ants in the room. One night we went to the lawn to enjoy music and a couple of drinks before dinner and honestly set up is terrible... they have one place that takes drinks and food which had a very long line. On busy evenings they should have two bars going with food since that is the rule now (can’t get a drink without food). We ordered a cold plate which took 30 mins, so we left without consuming it. Not one person we encountered greeted us or even asked how we were doing and at check out it was pretty much the same. Not a how was your stay and basically pushed us out... Very sad as it does not make you want to come back at all.
Unfortunately our room was terrible. It smelled badly. Fixtures were old and some items in the bathroom were rusted.Bathroom ceiling needed painting. Pull out couch mattress had not been changed in probably 20 years. Avoid Arbor Village. No desire to return.
The cleanliness was severly lacking. The facility is in dire need of a rehab.
Some of the reviews of the villages are bad, but we found our stay at Bitterige to be very comfortable and enjoyable. The pool at Arbor is lovely and the staff are very nice. The property is much bigger than expected, so you have to drive around or catch the shuttle, but it’s easy to navigate and very pretty. Recommend staying here and we will be back!
The area was spread out, has 2 pools, a short walk to a private beach, had restaurants on property but had some Mom & Pop stores to pick up extras not even 2 minutes for entrance and parking very convenient. Kayak rentals. Whole area was in a nice location.
We were upgraded to "the Mansion" thinking that we were going to be closer to the ocean but were very disappointed that you have to walk quite a ways to get to anything! Everywhere you want to go requires an extensive walk. Take your walking sneakers!!!
This hotel stay was hard for my sister and I because the air condioner was so loud we could not sleep. The lights kept blinking on and off and the shower had no grab bar and we are elderly. The room was a little on the old side and was a lower room and we had asked for a upper room.
BeUtiful room. Well maintained grounds. Restaurants on site were very good and not overly expensive. Staff was very friendly.
Had to request for daily housekeeping services but other than that everything was oka
stayed for two nights, comes with kitchen with utensils. nice pool, didn't get to try the golf court. bathroom door somehow cannot be locked, and it takes a few minutes to drive to the room.
Cleaning services came to early in the morning to clean room.
