The hotel is dated, but the views are gorgeous! The biggest drawback was dealing with Orbitz.

It is so beautiful. The staff were so helpful. The rooms were clean big and nice. The food was delicious.

Very nice, warm and beautiful landscapes! We really enjoyed staying there. Will recommend friends to go.

We loved the place overall. The staff and food was amazing; however, I feel as if the hotel overcharged for some of the items. Overall we had a wonderful experience here.

This is not at 4 Star resort. I'd give it 2.5. The view was gorgeous. The hotel is not being kept up; it looks hammered. Paint was peeling off the building. The main balcony was falling apart. Wires were sticking out above the crown moulding. The seats we were led to in the main dining room has ripped cushions. Everything was tired and I am floored that it still has a 4 star status. We paid over $500/night and shouldn't have paid more than $200 at the most. They are currently adding on another wing and my only hope is that part of the budget includes a comprehensive face lift to what was obviously a once elegant and beautiful historical resort.

The view from the veranda was amazing but the service to get a drink was very slow. We had to go to the bar to ask for someone to wait on us. Would've been easier to get the drinks at the bar, but they wouldn't let us.

Beautiful scenery and servers were very good at the restaurants.

THE AWESOME HISTORY! An incredible ontaking when originally built!

I loved the hotel- felt like we were taking a step into a 1940s resort. Loved the staff and the amenities. Didn’t love the costa for everything.. even to use the playground! And the restaurants were really overpriced.

Very beautiful and historic but food/drinks ridiculously priced for what you get. Thought there would be more for kids but there wasn’t.. But I brought a 2.5 year old; probably would be better for older kids (5 and up). If you go in winter time do the sleigh ride - worth the money! The spa is a great splurge for a special occasion. My husband enjoyed the historic hotel tour. Rooms are loud at night so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper!

We usually love it here but this trip was really disappointing. We splurged to go at Christmas as a treat to our daughter. The hotel was overrun with a wedding party, we typically look forward to eating in the main dining room but the first day everyone ate in another run down main room. The pool was shockingly filthy, our room was infested with lady bugs (so strange!) and the wedding party kept us up all night. So

The location is perfect. The pillows are too high that causes neck pain.

Beautiful Mountain View’s and wonderful sitting areas. Fantastic golf course. Visit every year!

Clean rooms, great service in a beautiful location
