We stayed at the Regal for one night as we were making our way back to England. We found the family room for 5 very clean and quite spacious. The bathroom was clean and the little kitchenette was ideal as it had a fridge which we could put in our supplies for our trip home. There was even a balcony that you could sit out on. The kids loved the pool on the roof and it was nice to have air con as the weather was very hot. Free Wi-Fi also helps with teenagers. Our stay included breakfast which was very well organised and lots of it. There was a range of scrambled egg and bacon to yoghurt and fruit. My kids loved the pastries and the hot chocolate. There is parking for free or you can pay for underground parking. We paid for underground parking as our car was full with our luggage etc. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. A pleasant stay for all.
Loud and dirty rooms with old furniture. The pictures on the homepage looks nice but the rooms are not comparable to them. Spacious yes but dirty. And worst of all loud. Can hear chefs of the kitchen in the Indian restaurant underneath the room. Every plate and also talking of them you can hear till they close about midnight.
1. The exterior is odd, and Indian restaurant raises an eyebrow 2. The room was comfortable 3. There is a pool on the roof that I didn't check out 4. The lobby lacks a manager. The muzak is always on. If you've been to Italy you know that EVERY cafe, hotel and restaurant blasts same 3 American and Italian "hits" on perpetual rotation. I understand that the receptionists need to keep themselves entertained (do they?), but sometimes it's just too much. And then there are the cleaners who give the impression of socializing in the lobby. Basically, the place could use a manager on site, even of minimal taste and ability, to supervise the place. 5. However, no real complaints. As always, with Italy, "I don't know" and "it's good as it is" and "let's be accomodating" is the problem. It's everywhere, and this hotel is no exception - a lack of any standard. I've no idea how do they manage to star hotels in Italy.
this hotel is rated as a 3 star, but i would rate it a 2 star at best. we booked it because we were visiting mille miglia and there was nothing available i town. close to metro ospedale. however, it is situated on the edge of a roundabout, between 2 busy roads. at the entrance is a very scruffy small kids play area and the rubbish bins. it's more like a motel. only 1 person on the desk. although they are friendly, it's not the best service. our room smells of syale cigarette. i didn't notice immediately because it was covered with air freshener, but after a few hours it became really apparent. i complained the next day (i am really sensitive to smoke) but the man on reception said he would ask the cleaners to clean our room thoroughly. i left the balcony door open all day but it still smells. the decor is tired and needs an update. the rooftop pool is tired too. no shelter that i could see and the loungers looked old and tatty. there is air conditioning (thank god, traffic is so noisy) and there is a safe in the room. breakfast was 3 euros per person so you can't complain, but the hotel was price totally exploited the mille miglia. would not stay again.
It's a nice and quiet hotel in Brescia. About 15 minutes by taxi from Brescia train station. Nice size rooms and bathroom clean and simple. No coffee facilities in room. Heating controlled by front desk. Nice and comfy bed. Free wifi but very weak in room 103 where I stayed. Reason for this is they only have one router on each floor and not all rooms have same quality of reception. Good breakfast buffet but a lot of "flies". It seemed to be a common problem as no one was bothered about it. It was close to where I had to be so not a bad place and I would chose again. Very nice and cooperative staff. Housing keeping needs to improve as the bed was not made properly every day. Bathroom supplies inconsistent. Some days you will find shower gel some days shampoo . One day I got a shower cap as well. When I checked in the sheet on bed had stains of black color maybe like shoe polish (not sure) so that wasn't a good impression. I would give everything a thumbs up except for housekeeping which needs massive improvement
The hotel is located outside the city, have underground parking for 5 euro/day. We have a big dog they didn't charge us for the dog. Breakfast is from 6-10:00. The hotel looks much better in the photos, in reality it's a bit used. They have a pizza reataurant where you can dinner before 23:00. For a family room we paid 107+5 for parking. The bathroom was very clean. Good to stay one or teo nights.
We received a warm welcome, were impressed by the condition of the hotel - it has had a refurb recently. Brescia itself is nice & we used this hotel as a stopover on the way to Lake Garda. Parking was easy and breakfast offered a nice range of food. Our room was a good size & had a large balcony,
The hotel is on the outskirts of town, looks a little old but was worth the price we paid. Large family room, good breakfast, clean pool on the rooftop, good wifi coverage Check out is a little early (10:30)
Very nice room in a very nice City. The room service was every day in the room so we had new and clear towels.Quiet good breakfast but the same everyday. The hotel was near metro which had an excellent timetable routing.Perfect WiFi.The centre of city was about 10 min on foot.People and service were courteous.
We booked this Hotel with a wish to spend a few days around lake Garda! The Hotel has a good Location after all. The Hospital with its matters, that lies just across the street, does not disturb. The Station ot the Metro and the bus is near by. It has its own parking place, the wifi works well, late Arrival does not make any Troubles to them. The breakfast is typicall italian, which means that is good. You can eat also outside. They also have a pool on the top of the building, from where you can admire Dolomites. The temperature of the water is not actively regulated, which means, that if it rains or the weather is not good, the water can be also a Little bit colder. The rooms are clean, tidy and with modern furniture and same goes with the bathrooms. Wifi is free, there is also an Elevator in the building. If you have a wish to run, there is no park in the neighborhood, but I managed to find a huge public Swimming facility (with olympic swimming pool) just a 1,5 km away. If the future gives me an opportunity, I will return to this place.
