A Perfect Getaway on Lewis Smith Lake

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful lakehouse on Lewis Smith Lake. The home was not only stunning but also incredibly comfortable and well-equipped, making it easy to relax and settle in from the moment we arrived. Every room was thoughtfully furnished, and the entire space felt welcoming and peaceful.One of the highlights was the pavilion located on the path down to the dock. It quickly became our favorite spot to unwind in the evenings with a drink in hand, watching the sun set over the water—it was absolutely breathtaking. The dock itself was perfect for swimming, fishing, or just enjoying the lake views.Everything about the property was accommodating, from the layout to the amenities, and you can tell the owners have put a lot of care into making it feel like a true home away from home. We’re already looking forward to our next trip back!

Fun times

We had a wonderful time with our family, even our little dog Lilly joined in the kayak and swimming. The sunsets were sensational and we had family time in the lower deck every evening. The kitchen is well appointed and we were able to cook gourmet meals and the children baked chocolate cake!!The owner was extremely gracious and even provided great coffee for us. I highly recommend this property

We really enjoyed our stay at Clearwater Shores. The house was as described, communication with owner and property manager was great. It’s a pretty busy spot on the lake, but so many are on Smith Lake.

Family Lake Trip

Family trip to Smith Lake for a long weekend. 9 adults and 1 infant. The house is fantastic. There was plenty of room for everyone to gather, and yet all had their own bedrooms. The view of the lake is amazing. The house was very clean and every amenity needed was available. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped. The Traeger grill was a plus. The owner was excellent and very responsive during the rental process and any/all questions leading up to our stay. It is very probable that we will return for family gatherings. Highly recommend this property.

Awesome Smith Lake Retreat

Beautiful home, with multi level dock. Manicured grounds with 2 BBQ's and firepits, comfortable furniture inside and out, with many sitting areas. Well stocked with toiletries, paper products, and very well stocked kitchen. Nothing to do but relax!

Our stay was absolutely incredible! Communication was seamless, with quick responses and great recommendations from Bob and Monique that made our trip even better.The home was spotlessly clean, well-stocked with supplies, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Can’t find anything to complain about!

Boy, we hit this one out of the park. Seven adults (26+) celebrated a milestone birthday at a beautiful property on the most quiet piece of land. The views are exceptional, the kitchen has everything you’ll ever need and then some, the beds are comfortable, the house is quiet, and you could eat off the floors it’s so clean. We were welcomed and made comfortable before, during and even after we left. Ten star service in a ten star house. We look forward to the next visit. Thank you to Bob, Karen and Monique for everything.

Everything you want to do under one roof

The house hosted 6 adult and 4 kids perfectly. For the kids: there is a game room, grass area to play on, and large deck to fish and swim off of. For the adults: game room, mini bar, comfortable living and eating space, multiple decks to relax, 2 firepit areas, and large lakeside deck with coach, bar top table and lounge chairs. We also brought our boat, which was accommodated at the dock on the property. Be prepared for a stair climb as the property is located perfectly on a hillside. We had such a great time there, that the 3 days flew by too fast. BUT the best part of the property was the owner and caretaker giving full attentions and communication on anything we needed and even suggested local activities in the area. Beware of the steep and narrow Drive way and make sure to not bring a boat trailer down the road. Leave it by the mailboxes if you do not want to rent a spot at marina

Family vacation with kids and grandkids

The house is lovely, and the owners have certainly put a lot of thought into making sure everything you might need while there is available. Both the owner and caretaker reached out prior to our arrival to welcome us and to reinforce that if we needed anything we just needed to let them know. The caretaker responded to my texts very promptly. We had a wonderful family vacation at Clearwater Shores.

Perfect Family Lake house!

We absolutely loved our stay at Clearwater Shores on Smith Lake. The house was beautiful, clean, and spacious for our large family. The views were amazing and the extra deck by the lake was so nice to sit and relax by the water. Our kids had the best time playing in game-room and fishing and swimming by the dock. Robert was the most caring and kind host. We can’t wait to come back soon!

Perfect Lake House

What a fabulous lake house! The house is clean, beautiful, and well-maintained. Three bedrooms upstairs, master on the main level, and another bedroom in the lower level is a great layout. We had such a great time with the game room. There was so much to do between the arcades, air hockey, pool table, and cornhole. And of course, jumping and swimming off the dock. It was great having the dock to tie up the boat we rented. Our kids did hours and hours of tubing. Smith Lake water is clean and beautiful. We stayed five nights in June, but I think next time we will stay seven. We had such a great time! Looking forward to coming back next summer!!

Clearwater Shores is a gorgeous property! The house is very spacious and beautifully decorated. It is well supplied with cooking essentials and other lake items like towels, etc. The owner and property manager were always quick to respond and very helpful!

A great spring break vacation

Clearwater Shores was a great house for our families. The accommodations were perfect. All of the bedrooms were spacious with very comfortable beds. Fabulous updated kitchen. Robert, the owner made sure we had everything we needed at the house. He checked in with us a couple times during our stay to make sure everything was as promised. The property manager Monique, was fabulous. She was quick to respond to any questions we had and did anything she could to make sure our stay was enjoyable as possible. We would definitely consider staying at Clear Water Shores again.
