The location of the hotel is excellent. The garage was safe and well maintained, the hotel staff was very accommodating and friendly. The rooms were tastefully furnished with relatively ok noise insulation. Some downsides for international travellers, especially if you stay for several nights, the TV channel selection is pretty much mostly German channels only; For couples: check beforehand if you get a full mattress or just two halves pushed together, the mattress wasn't quite what I was expecting it to be. The breakfast buffet had a lot of great variety and they did have some free newspapers as well including Financial Times which was a nice touch.

I had not stayed with Atlantic until this trip. I am thoroughly now a big fan (Lubeck & Bremen). They do the basics extremely well. Loved the bed and pillows; quiet with a decent location. Attentive staff. Bravi.

Lovely hotel, located in a quiet street dead in the centre of Bremen, just a couple of hundred of metres away from the main square. Nice, large rooms, all clean and well furnished. Good breakfast too.

Bremen is not a very big city but this hotel is perfectly located for the centre which can all be accessed by foot. The rooms appear to have been recently refurbished and are very functional. Breakfast is very good. Parking costs EUR20 a night.

Located in the very center of the city just a short walk to the beatiful townhall ! This modern and well equiped hotel offers excellent accomodation, clean and very comfortable. Surprisingly quiet. The breakfast is comprehensive and very good !

We stopped at this hotel as a one night stay as part of our ‘European road trip’ Over the course of this trip we stayed in four different hotels and although we had possibly ranked this as 4th in most looking to spending the night... In experience this hotel became our favourite stop over. This hotel had its own parking (this pleases the boy a lot!) A warm polite welcome from the reception desk, with an even warmer welcome in our room. Welcome bottle of water, and platter of cakes and treats greeted our arrival. We booked a suite with a separate little lounge area. It had a cute little view of the Bremen characters and a little hint of the delights Bremen square would have to offer. The square is just behind the hotel which was a delightful little place to spend a few hours enjoying the local beers and doing the ‘touristy thing’ After a comfortable night, we found the hotels large restaurant didn’t disappoint for breakfast, readying us for the next leg of our journey.

We've had two stays here and loved it both times. Perfectly located in the city centre, the rooms are comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great, if slightly pricey, but will keep you going all day long

Elegant, modern rooms just off the market place. Were upgraded to a junior suite with good views, plenty of space and great furnishings including a super comfortable bed, the result of building works which are now finished. Reception staff and concierge were very helpful. Nice bar. Didn't use the restaurant. Altogether a great experience

We had a lovely stay here. There were lots of little details the staff did that made the service so good. Our bags were put up in our room as we were early before check in, they tried really hard to get us a reservation at a restaurant. They were v friendly & the studio room was great, it was much better than it looked in the pics online.

We stayed at The Atlantic Grand Hotel in Bremen from Friday the 30th of November to Monday the 2nd of December 2018. First impressions of the hotel were good as our taxi pulled up outside even with the chaos of lots of Bayern Munich fans milling around the team bus which was parked outside for their game the following day against Werder Bremen. The team were staying in the hotel, but apart from seeing a few of the players & officials in the elevator & the lobby area being busy on Saturday there was no impact on our stay. Once we were inside, things got even better when we saw the reception area decorated for the festive season with a huge Christmas tree standing by the elevators. Check in was handled quickly & efficiently & we were soon on our way to the 5th floor, we had booked a superior room which was large & well appointed, the bathroom was also a good size with a large walk in shower & a large sink area. The room was spotlessly clean & on the quiet side of the hotel overlooking the courtyard with the Alpine Hut bar & restaurant which I believe is only there in the winter months. We had travelled with my wife’s sister & her husband, they were also on the 5th floor, their room was in the new part of the hotel, it was decorated differently to ours, having a wooden floor as opposed to the carpet in ours as well as an open hanging closet whilst we had a traditional closet. Both rooms were very nice although we preferred our one for no other reason than it was on the quiet side of the hotel. We chose not to have breakfast in the hotel primarily due to the myriad of other options available at the Christmas Market. We did however eat dinner in the Alpine Hut on our last evening, the food actually came from the Alto Restaurant in the hotel & had a strong emphasis not surprisingly on Alpine cuisine, there were two vegetarian options one of which my wife had & she was very impressed with it. The portions were huge as my brother in law found out when he ordered a dish of bratwurst with sauerkraut as a starter, it mentioned “Nine” in the title & did indeed come with nine individual sausages. The food & service were both excellent & we had a very enjoyable evening which was made even more special by the staff who were very friendly. The hotel bar was also excellent with a great cocktail list, there are two areas, one in the main lobby beside reception the other is a smoking area which we did venture into once due to the lobby area being busy, the smoking not withstanding it’s a nice area but after many years of smoke free bars & restaurants its strange to walk in somewhere & face the smell of cigarette smoke. The bar staff were friendly & knowledgeable one in particular mixed a fantastic “Old Fashioned”. The hotel was perfectly situated for the main Christmas market with it being a short walk out of the back entrance as well as the Schlachte Magic Christmas Market which is situated on the river bank across the road from the front entrance. We were able to pop back to the hotel as & when required, it was nice to have that option when the markets got busy. In summary the hotel & staff were fantastic & we will definitely return to Bremen & the hotel.
