This was such a great stay. The room was impeccable, very big and the staff was so friendly. The location was centrally located to everywhere I needed to walk to, by tram or train. I would definitely stay again.

The thinnest pillow in the whole of Germany & there’s many thin pillows in Germany!! I’m not used to there not being any staff around so that was strange & a bit annoying as I couldn’t get in to check in to start with. Something in the room kept telling me it was connected throughout the night, none of my gadgets but I assumed it was the iPad type device under the tv - no idea what that was there for, I didn’t use it. I also had someone (possibly a member of staff) open my door & try to come into the room after I had arrived with no explanation of why. It was a comfortable but basic room (reflecting the price paid) but close to the city centre & all the attractions.

Although the rooms we stayed in, two junior suites, were spacious and comfortable, we found the breakfast situation dreadful. There were 7 of us, including 4 youngsters, and on the first morning there was just no place to seat us all together. The breakfast room was narrow and small and the lady in charge of it was miserable. When I asked politely for gluten free bread, admittedly in broken German, she became angry and chanted that she didn’t speak English. She watched us all like a hawk, and on the second day, even though I secured a table for us, I was made to feel uncomfortable as she kept watching our every move. We are not used to this and we’re not able to relax and enjoy our breakfast. We enjoyed our trip to Bremen in all other aspects, apart from this🙁

The lady at the service desk was really friendly and very efficient, the room was very clean and comfortable. Really centrally located for the tram. The one thing that i would like it tea and coffee facilities available in the evening. Would definitely stay again and highly recomend

Good location

The room and bedding was clean. There were plenty of electric sockets but the bathroom did not really have an area next to the basin to place your washbag, make up and so on. Breakfast was good. Nice breakfast rolls and meat/ cheese selection. Friendly breakfast staff. Room service ????. Our daughter with family stayed there two and since no daily room service the dirty nappies were a sittuation. In the end the reception gave them a black bin liner. We had to ask for clean towles. The hotel is very close to the Wall park which leads on to the Dom and Market Square. So very good for the sights. For us a bad point, NO tea/ coffee facility in the rooms. There is a coffee machine in the breakfast room which is open until 6pm. But we like a hot drink in the evening when we come back in to our room, so there was nothing, not even a coffee shop near by.

This is not a fancy hotel, and while it has an elevator, there are a few steps to navigate within, but we slept comfortably and what the room lacked in expensive furniture was more than made up for by location. You can walk from train station, you can walk to a beautiful park, and you can walk to the gorgeous, historical town center. Good restaurants are also within walking distance. Best of all, you get a fabulous German breakfast at the hotel.

So, for Americans like us, keep in mind that this is a hotel targeting mainly european leisure travelers looking for minimal amenities. Which means all single (twin) beds. A double bed is just two twins placed next to each other. One pillow, small single person blanket, reception closed at 8. But, extra pillows amd towels are happily provided on request and there is an after hours number for emergencies. Once you account for all that, this is a great hotel. 5 min. walk to Bremen center. Large, well appointed rooms, comfortable beds and friendly staff. Good breakfast every morning. We enjoyed our stay very much.
