It was a lovely property but I was disappointed on arrival that the Caretaker did not speak a word of English! even though it did mention in your details that they spoke both French and English. They were lovely people but we found it very hard to understand things even though we used google to help us. There were details on the notice board in French. of course. which we managed to translate eventually but it was not easy! Perhaps it could be recommended that with future English speaking visitors that there was a copy of the notice board actually translated into English. We have spent many years visiting France and although we have picked up quite a bit we cannot hold a conversation in French especially when it is spoken very quickly. Other that this point we had no problem whatsoever and found the couple very nice and it would have been even better if we had been able to communicate with them!!
