Breezand, located at the tip of North Holland, offers tranquillity, nature, and adventure. This region is known for its vast polders, colourful bulb fields, and fresh sea air. Here, you can fully enjoy everything the area has to offer.

Close to the zoo
A short distance away is Landgoed Hoenderdaell, a unique zoo and nature park where animal welfare is central. This park offers spacious habitats for animals such as tigers, monkeys, and exotic birds. It is an excellent place for families and nature lovers, with impressive birds-of-prey shows and a feline san estuary. Children can have a great time in the playgrounds, and delicious food is available in the restaurants.

The ferry to Texel
In less than 15 minutes, drive to Den Helder, where the ferry takes you to Texel in 20 minutes. This largest Wadden Island invites you to a day full of adventure. Explore the picturesque villages, discover nature reserves like Slufter, and visit the seal sanctuary Ecoma e. Cycling on Texel is highly recommended, with perfectly maintained cycle paths leading through forests, dunes, and along the coast.

Beach and sea
Breezand is a short distance from the wide sandy beaches of Julianadorp aan Zee, which are also easily accessible by bicycle via the Westeinde ferry. Whether relaxing in the sun, taking a refreshing dip, or walking along the surf, this beach has something for everyone. During the summer, beach pavilions offer cosy places to eat and drink, while in the winter, the beach is an oasis of calm. Julianadorp aan Zee has several restaurants and good shopping facilities.

Cycling through nature
The area around Breezand is a paradise for cycling enthusiasts. Direct y from the holiday home, you can start beautiful cycling routes through the colourful bulb fields, quiet polder landscapes, and picturesque villages. Along the coastline, you cycle through the dunes with breathtaking sea views. With well-marked cycle paths and little traffic, this area is perfect for recreational and experienced cyclists. Rental bikes can be delivered to the holiday home if required.
