Welcome to the seaside resort of Breege! Here you can see the “Treasure Island” of Rügen at its most beautiful. Located directly at the entrance to the Schaabe—the island’s longest swimming beach—is the former fishing village of Breege on the Wittow Peninsula. Here you’ll find a stunning marina, hidden coves and headlands, and a breathtaking natural backdrop with lush flowering meadows and pristine natural beaches. From the harbor in Breege, you can take a leisurely trip to the neighboring island of Hiddensee or to Ralswiek. This is where the famous “Störtebeker Festival” is held every year. Join Klaus Störtebeker on one of his raids at the open-air theater in Ralswiek and enjoy the nightly fireworks display. At the Breege Harbor Houses, you’ll have access to free underground parking as well as free use of the laundry room. Of course, every vacation apartment features a balcony or terrace, some with stunning views of the Jasmund Bodden.
Breege has numerous restaurants and cafés where you can take a wonderful break. Fresh bread rolls are available daily at the harbor, and a small supermarket is also within easy walking distance.
