Significant construction (7am–7pm, 6 days/week) at an adjacent site is expected until summer 2027. River Ridge claimed no confirmed schedule was available at booking or arrival, and as the construction is off-property, they would not offer compensation or release from the rental agreement. We left three days early. Reception confirmed construction had been known about and a previous review evidenced it. I do not accept that River Ridge was unaware; this material fact was omitted. The property advert has since been updated. We did not get to enjoy the mountain views or private deck. The apartment is well located but not a true penthouse—drawers are unstable, the headrest is damaged, the kettle is missing a knob (causing a burn), a glass was chipped, and the toilet brush broke. Most lampshades are misaligned, and the bathroom sink takes forever to get hot. “Full use” of One Ski Hill Place is inaccurate; luggage storage was refused. Early check-in was however allowed, the apartment did not appear clean. Towels & linen were clean, but the sofa and chairs were uncomfortable. Overall, this was the poorest value of any Breck apartment I have stayed in
