Sleeping six people across three bedrooms, this is the ideal retreat for families or groups of friends in search of some seaside fun in North Devon. During the day, take a stroll along the sand, or head into the village to sample the treats on offer in its pretty thatched tearooms. In the evening, come home to the chalet to share a bottle of wine with your loved ones around the wood burner in the living room.

Step inside and you’ll be greeted by a bright and spacious open-plan living/kitchen/dining area with picture windows that perfectly showcase the breathtaking country views. Slip onto a sofa and make yourself at home before heading to the kitchen area to whip up some dinner for your nearest and dearest. You’ll find everything you need to let your inner-chef to shine. Gather everyone together to eat in the chic dining area, or head outside into the pretty garden to dine alfresco. After dinner, take a stroll along the beach, or head to the living area to warm your toes by the wood burner. At the end of the day, you’ll find three beautifully-decorated bedrooms to choose from.

Grab your surfboard and enjoy a fabulous day on the water at Croyde Beach (0.5 miles), which boasts one of the country’s premier surfing breaks. Alternatively, get the gang together for a fun-filled day at Putsborough Sands (1.5 miles). Take a dip in the sea, go rock-pooling or try your hand at stand-up paddle-boarding. Or go for a nature hike at Braunton Burrows Nature Reserve (4.5 miles). Keep your eyes peeled for foxes and deer.
