Check in was confusing because the Boardwalk Inn is for sale and you check in at the Suburban studio. Signage needed to be better. Also, no working elevator in the hotel. This is very problematic and needs to be specified before booking. Carpet in rooms and halls really need to be cleaned. Really musty smelling and dirty. Breakfast really needed to be stocked better, but they were pretty overwhelmed.

Hard to find

The front desk area was hard to find and the second building down the hill and around the corner was beyond difficult to figure out. No numbers on the buildings so it was a guess as to which one we were supposed to go to. We ended up having to guess and just tried our card key at the locked entrance door.

This has been our go to hotel for the last year or so. We really liked it because it was clean, the beds comfy and pretty quiet. This trip was not so good. The first room they gave us someone had been in there taking a break or something. They laid on the bed and had dirt all over the end of the bed from their shoes the pillows were all mashed down so it was pretty obvious someone had been in there after it was cleaned. We let the front desk know and they were very kind and gave us another room. The check in has always been great.We moved to a different room. Everything was fine till i went to take a shower and there was no shower curtain. No problem the next morning we asked the housekeeper for a curtain and she gave us one. What made it our last time staying there was the fact that there was groups of people all day and late at night just hanging out by all the doors. The doors that you are supposed to use a key to get in with were propped open with the mats that were there. We closed it once on our way out in the early evening and when we came back around 11 that evening the door was propped open again. There was a group of young men hanging out by the door so we could only assume it was propped so they could get into one of the rooms. There were also several rooms that had doors propped open. It just didn’t feel secure. Someone had a key and propping doors so how secure could our room be while we were gone. We stayed out 2 nights we had booked then found another hotel.

You actually have to check in at a neighboring hotel and that was inconvenient and i called abs actually spoke to the clerk about check-in and they never said to go anywhere else to check in

It was a good hotel. There was a few things I didn’t like though. The smell in the halls smelt like marijuana. U could hear the people above you stomping and I heard a dog all day barking! Other than that I loved it!

decent hotel

Breakfast was okay but nothing to brag about, and unfortunately the pool is uphill at the other building. Room was clean and comfortable but it looks like they are doing some updating to the hotel . Would stay here again.

Honestly, it was pretty disgusting in the office so that should’ve been my first red flag. And while I was checking in, another lady came in and said she wasn’t staying there because her room smelled terribly like weed. Second red flag. I was hopeful because we were staying at a sister Facility that was working out of one office and our room was in another building. The room would have been very nice and perfect for us, but was not cleaned. The room had been left in the same condition when the people before us left. Mounds of trash, overflowing the trashcan, pizza boxes drinks, unclean towels, all over, unmade bed. We asked to cancel because this was highly unprofessional to put us in an unclean room, although it was fairly nice. I am trying to figure out how to get a refund through hotels.com but so far have been unsuccessful as we had to book another one somewhere else Because that motel was full.

It was so easy to book here! We wanted to extend our stay by a day and they were able to accommodate us no problem! The breakfast was great, perfect way to start the day. I enjoyed how safe the building was with key card access only. The pool was perfect for a hot afternoon and was relaxing.

There was nothing excellent about the motel but for the price it and the location was a great choice for us. Took a long time for the room to cool down but it was a hot day. Bed was comfortable. The stairs carpet, entry glass doors, and outside sitting area could have been cleaner and more inviting! Breakfast was fine. Will at it to my google map favorites!
