We had an amazing stay - the entire staff was wonderful. I thought we were going to have a problem when we walked into our room and it was a sultry 83 degrees. The a/c was off and it was a warm, humid day. We turned the a/c on and cranked it down and then went to explore the propoerty, including eating at the onsite restaurant - which was amazing! The views are beautiful - the pool was still open (too cold to swim though being October), and I loved that they offered kayaks for us to use (couldn't talk my husband into it though lol). By the time we were back to our room, the temp was down to 75 and by sunset, it was a comfortable 72.
The rooms were nice but you could tell it is a little older and could use some updates. There were a ton of spiders around, which the hotel is kind of in nature, so it didn't bother me so much but you would think they would spray right around the hotel to keep them from coming into the rooms or on the balcony.
Overall, we had an amazing stay and will stay again in the future when we are kid free :)!
