Very cute and nicely built cabin. We appreciated all the amenities and the local guide binder for ideas for some adventures! Nice peaceful area down a back road, perfect for a little get away. Kitchen could use a few more dishes, like baking sheets and cooking knives.

This was our 4th trip and the place has consistently been wonderful. Clean and very spacious. I am still amazed at the price as most everywhere else we have traveled to has increased drastically it seems. Take advantage of this gem while you can.

We enjoyed the quietness and scenery of the area. We found the cabin very cozy. The only thing we would say is that it is very remote for anyone looking to stay here and the roads close to the cabin are very rough but the cabin itself is great.

Wonderful cabin

This is a comfortable place to stay near Penn Yan. The place is decorated so well that even the grandchildren commented on how beautiful it was. The cabin is off a dirt road that has amazing views of the valley. Thank you for letting us stay at your cabin.

This was a perfect place to stay while hiking the Bristol Hills Branch of the Finger Lakes Trail. Close enough to the trailheads and places to eat after.

Short stay

Our stay was for three nights but we were gone all day both days we were there. The house was very cute but there were a few problems. The motion sensor light was turned off so was unable to sense our motion on arrival. The stove would not turn on. It sparked but wouldn’t light. I think maybe the propane was turned off. The sulfur smell of the hot water was so overwhelming that it was basically unusable. The cold water was fine. The furniture was all very comfortable and the wi-fi worked well. The coffee pot reservoir leaked all over the counter.

Second Stay

This was our 2nd time staying at this property, as we enjoyed it so much the first trip! We love that the cabin is quiet and private, while still being just a short drive to vineyards, lakes, restaurants and more. We did have to reset the router a few times as service would cut out, but that’s no biggie (and expected with the amount of wind when we visited). Such a wonderful place to relax, with all the comforts of home. We can’t wait to return for a 3rd time!

Hunting trip

The hunting in the area (state forests) wasn't great but the cabin was awesome, we did have an issue with the heat on the first day, but Gary had it fixed before days end, excellent service!
