This 1920 Victorian home has been lovingly updated while maintaining her original coastal charm. Enjoy relaxing on the wrap around front porch or chillin' and grillin' in the back yard tropical courtyard heated pool and gas grill.
The 4 bedrooms sleep 8+ and is child friendly with bed rails, Pack and Play, stair gates and highchair. The main floor master suite features a king bed, 55" Smart TV/DVD player, en'suite bath with garden tub, shower room, water closet, twin vanities and walk in closet. The 'Island Room' has a Queen Size bed and sleeps two. The favorite 'Old Florida Room' has a queen bed, and the tranquil 'Garden Room' has one King bed. This room has an available twin bed that can be set up upon request. All with ample closet space. The upper level has a spacious bathroom with clawfoot tub and shower room. Of course, all linens and towels are furnished.
When it is time to come in from play, you will enjoy the comfort of the living room with it's oversized furnishings and 55"high def. Smart TV and DVD player. The extra-long sofa converts to twin bed. Direct TV and wireless high-speed internet are provided.
There is plenty of room for dining in the formal dining room with a table that seats 10. Of course, you will fall in love with the large kitchen and the French doors that open to the back courtyard pool. Everything you need is ready for you including stainless appliances, island bar seating and table that seats 4. Off the kitchen is a laundry room for those sandy suits and towels. Off the dining room is a powder room.
There are beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, and coolers for your use should you take in the beach - a MUST as you are only 8 miles to Anna Maria Island. Plus, you are within walking distance to Old Main St. with shops, street market, restaurants and bars. And of course, you are at the start of The Riverwalk that features parks, restaurants, biking, museum/aquarium, piers and 2 mile trail along the river. Do not miss shopping and dining at the Village of Arts.

Gregg and Lori (host) were very accommodating. Full tour of their home on arrival. The home is fully furnished with all essentials (just like being in your own home). The pool/patio area was refreshing with tables chairs, sun umbrellas, lounge chairs and grill. A variety of bikes for all sizes was fabulous for bike rides down to the boardwalk. Also boogie boards, umbrellas, beach chairs, coolers for the beach were supplied. A great location too. Hospitality was abundant! Thank you for sharing your home.

The Friendly City

A wonderful and peaceful 1920 house, with pool, in the historic centre of Bradenton. Walking distance from Old Main Street with its bars and restaurants, this was the perfect home away from home.Close to majestic Anna Maria island and downtown St Pete, the house offered space and tranquility as well as everything a family could need on a vacation. We can't recommend this property highly enough. We will definitely be back!

This is the best stocked rental we've ever been to. The owners are very friendly, welcoming, and responsive. Even before we arrived I had to do some shifting of reservations and they took care of it with no issues. The house was amazing. Very clean, stocked, and functional. It's amazing how many little things had been considered for guest comfort. The property was kid friendly with all of the necessities; toys, games, pool items, etc. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this house.Hope to stay again! Highly recommend

Walking distance to great food and welcoming homey vibe

You walk into the house knowing this isn't just another weekend rental flipper. No stark white and gray kitchen and no gift shop slogan sign tacked up on the walls. The place has a warm welcoming family feel to it and the owners are incredibly generous by offering up their shed of chairs and coolers, a bowl of snacks on the counter, as well as coffee and filters. Communication was great and the pool was heated! Wonderful wonderful stay, we will be back next year!

Beach fun with the grandkids

Wonderful, relaxing vacation with the grandkids. Our day was everything we were hoping for. The kids enjoyed the beach, but enjoyed the pool so much more. We hope to be back soon.
