Great location and clean
We really enjoyed this home. I wasn’t aware it was connected to a business until the day of, but it didn’t make a difference at all. Home was very clean! Only tricky part was making sure the place stayed heated. If I had one complaint, it would be that the back stairs were covered with ice. Maybe these could get salted for future stays. We already plan on coming back next year and staying at this place

Too cold to enjoy
Very disappointed. Despite being told upon check in to “ use the thermostat to control the heat” there was no thermostat located in the rental. After trying to discuss this with the rental company I was told to use the fire place in the living room. The fireplace was very nice but rendered the back half of the property unusable as it was uncomfortably cold. I was traveling with two young children and find this unacceptable. I complained multiple times about the cold and was told they would “contact the owner.” If there is no way to control the heat and someone is renting this unit in the winter that is something that needs to be disclosed. I never would have chosen this property knowing that and feel like the listing is misleading by not disclosing that very important fact.

Boyne City Rental
Property listing is 100% accurate. Everyone in our group throughly enjoyed the home! Very good location and communication with renters was easy and quick! Only problem we had was some dog hair that was possibly from the last renter but overall would book again with this location & renter!
