Rest & relaxation

The house and property were amazing. The beds and linens were cozy. We felt very at home there. The kitchen, bathrooms and utility room were all more than adequately stocked. We brought groceries and cooked and ate at the house each day & night. We much enjoyed our time there. If you are looking for a place to go and do nothing but relax, sit on the dock, enjoy the hot tub and views, this is your place. If you’re looking for entertainment, fine dining or amenities, this is NOT the location for you. The closest convenience stores, gas station, grocery, etc is 15-20 mins in any direction. It is very secluded. No door dashing dinner here. For us that was great since we were there to rest and relax for our anniversary. If we had brought our kids with us it would not have been as enjoyable since the water wasn’t clean enough to swim at the dock and boat/jet ski rental was quite a distance away & challenging to navigate. Overall it was perfect for my husband and I and we would definitely stay there again.

Girls weekend

Four of us women have been friends since we were teenagers..but have never gone on vacation together. Booked this place for our besties 40th birthday weekend. Very relaxing. Hot tub was perfect. Fire pit was so relaxing. The stars were mesmerizing. Just far enough to feel like to see away but close enough for it to be convenient. Thankful for you all opening your peace out paradise!

This rental is exceptional. The home is nice, super clean, beds very comfortable. It was also well stocked. A short, easy slope down to the dock. The hot tub was awesome. I have been renting on Lake Gaston for 25 years. This is my first time here and it is the best place I have rented. Thanks to the host for all. I highly recommend it

Peace Out Lake House

Beautiful location and very nice home. Wonderful private dock for your own boat. Enjoyed the hot tub. The only negative comment I would have to say is that the grass needed cutting and the daily walk from the house to the dock got big bites on our feet. But that was minor and we fully enjoyed this home and all it had to offer

A Wonderful Getaway

From the minute I hit book this property, it was a great experience. The friendly communication from answering my questions to providing all the needed information was spot on. The house is up to date, super comfy, and had everything we needed (even monopoly). We spent everyday down on the dock fishing and paddle boarding around the island. Theres not alot of boat/jet ski traffic/noose which is a huge win. This was an amazing quiet getaway at the lake and highly recommend it!

Perfect Vacation Destination for Relaxation

We had the most enjoyable, relaxing vacation at Peace Out Lake House! Loved so many features of this lake house property: the amazing views of the lake from the house, deck, backyard & dock; the tranquil, lovely natural setting all around; kayaking & seeing heron, turtles, lily pads, cattails & water flowers; hearing bullfrogs/treefrogs during campfires w/ smores around the firepit; the hot tub was so relaxing/rejuvenating; swimming around the dock; grilling out delicious dinners on the deck; ability to wash/dry clothes when needed. The lake house was immaculate, well-designed/decorated & very comfy! Owners are generous & caring in how well-stocked everything is & in the small, thoughtful touches. Highly recommend!

This property was very very clean, and had everything you need, from the Hot Tub to the Kayaks, the Fire Pit, and the Corn Hole boards. Great view of the lake, and boat dock. My only regret, is not having booked a longer stay.

The house was great, very clean and cozy. The outside was equally amazing especially the hot tub. We stayed 3 nights just me and my spouse and then decided to stay an extra night and had our kids come since we only live a couple hours away. This property was perfect for our short getaway. Beautiful views of the water. Very private and peaceful neighborhood. Enjoyed relaxing on the deck and on dock, and floating in the water on the hot days!!! House was in perfect condition and it was stocked very well. Host was very easy to communicate with and prompt on responses. Best way to describe this place is PERFECT!!! We will most definitely be back!!!!
