Perfect place in the country!

We really enjoyed our stay in the farmhouse and went to sleep every night with the cow bells ringing like soothing music. The apartment is clean and we found the beds to be comfortable - there were additional, thinner blankets in the clothes chest that we should have looked for earlier in our stay, it may have improved even further! We understand very little German but with Google translate we were able to communicate quite well with the host, fantastic people! We purchased milk, eggs and cheese from them. They were ok with us walking with the cows as they headed to pasture one evening. While there, the farm was busy making grass hay and we enjoyed seeing the process - quite different than we have back home - the efficiency and attention to detail amazed me. In summary, we prefer a rural setting and this vacation rental was perfect for us!
