You are just 45 minutes from Enchanted Rock State Natural Area, a sacred site of native Americans. You are one hour from Fredericksburg, where you can find unique shopping along with wine tasting in the area now known as the "Napa Valley" of the Texas Hill Country. Just down the road from Fredericksburg is Luckenbach, made famous in the song sung by Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings. This place is a great place-it has all of the modern comforts (Especially great water pressure and comfy bedding and mattresses)…but it takes you back to a place that was the Hill country, before it became so well-known and crowded. This adorable cottage is great for getting away from the stresses of life. It is very clean, quiet, and affordable. Jackie and his wife go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect.
