Little Stadbury was the perfect place to relax and recharge. It had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay.Malcolm & Sarah were very welcoming hosts and gave us information about the accommodation and advice on walks in the local area.The whole accommodation was clean and warm and the kitchen was very well-equipped. We would love to visit again one day.

Perfect property and location with fantastic hosts!

Lovely roomy cottage in the perfect super quiet location with everything you might need for a relaxing stay and we have stayed several times over the past few years - spring and summers. Much to see and do locally whatever the weather and brilliant, welcoming hosts.

Excellent holiday experience as always - fourth visit for us - did more and further walks and found some excellent spots for breakfast and lunches. Can’t be faulted. Highly recommend the Church House Inn nearby. Food and service is excellent. Portions are large so be careful not to order too much. All in all Ideally placed for many different days out and scenic walks.

Great place to stay

A great place to stay with family and dogs, so nice and quiet with it’s own field to let dogs run around. We will stay again as it was not far from the beach and Salcombe. Very clean and well presented.

Perfect end to our vacation!

Little Stadbury was such a perfect location for our family. It is close to the coastline and to some amazing villages. Malcolm and Sarah were perfect hosts and very helpful to find places and activities for our family.

Lovely cottage and hosts

Spacious and beautifully set in the countryside, close to the coast. Malcolm and Sarah were very welcoming and genial hosts and the cottage offered everything we were after.

Little Stadbury is a hamlet just outside Aveton Gifford reached by a farm track of 1/2 a mile or more. The property offers a spacious open plan living and dining area with 2 good sized bedrooms above.It is wonderful and the hosts are truely lovely too, adding so much to your stay.

Short stay

We had a lovely warm welcome by the hosts and were made to feel at home immediately. We were given great information about surrounding walks and they were really accommodating to our family and over excited Labrador. Would thoroughly recommend staying here.

Lovely break in beautiful location

We absolutely loved our stay at Little Stadbury. It's a gorgeous property in a beautiful location. We found it so spacious and comfortable and ideal for us and the teenage children and our dog too! Malcom and Sarah were so welcoming and helpful. We would definitely love to go back sometime.

Perfect property and hosts!

We have had the most fantastic holiday. The property was perfect for our family of three - including one 2 year old and two spaniels. Malcolm and Sarah were great hosts and we can't recommend Little Stadbury highly enough! Looking forward to coming back soon.

Amazing South Devon base

We hit the jackpot - a beautiful property in a fantastic location - 3 miles from fabulous Bantham beach - but with easy access to main road for visits around the South Hams. Clean, spacious, stylish, peaceful. We would love to return.

Lovely stone barn

Malcolm and Sarah were fantastic hosts, always willing to provide tips about local restaurants and beaches. The house is very well stocked and perfect for a weekend or week long getaway. There are lovely walks all around and you can even reach Bantham beach in under an hour. The local area is beautiful and well worth a visit, Salcombe and Kingsbridge being particularly nice. All in all a fantastic stay and highly recommended.

Hidden Gem

The property was bigger than it looked in the photos, was very well equipped and very clean. Down a long lane, there is no traffic or noise aside from a rooster yet it’s convenient for Kingsbridge and beaches. This really is a lovely pro.
