Hôte exceptionnel

Alfred, notre hôte nous a accueilli à notre arrivée comme si nous étions de la famille. Il nous a fait un tour de l’appartement et nous a même demandé ce que nous voulions avoir le lendemain matin pour le déjeuner. Si nous retournons à Bourg Saint-Maurice c’est certain que nous allons réserver chez Alfred.

Alfred was wonderful host! We stayed here during the TMB and he provided helpful information before we arrived so that we could catch the correct bus from Les Chapex. Beautiful and large suite, and great breakfast too.

I have never really written reviews for properties on Expedia previously. This is the first one. I stayed in this place in Aug 2022 while on TMB. I could not find a refuge on the trail and decided to try this venue. I will absolutely do it all over again. To begin with, the owner, Alfred, was very responsive before the trip. He initiated contact through Expedia and made sure that we were on the same page in terms of arrival and departure schedule and made restaurant recommendations. We arrived much later than expected and was pleasantly surprised that Alfred had been waiting outside for us to make sure that we did not miss the property. He made sure we had everything we need. The place was very nicely decorated, homey and clean. Wifi works perfectly fine. It really rejuvenated us after a long day of hike. We took a taxi from Les Chapieux because we missed the bus, but we were able to take the shuttle the next day to get back to the trail.

Closeness to the train station and to the City Center. The owner of the property, Alfred, was extremely friendly and helpful. He provided me with a special breakfast since I was leaving before the normal breakfast time to take a train. He had this special meal outside my door before I went to bed.

Tolle Unterkunft, sehr sauber, gemütliches Bett, liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr zentral gelegen, man hat alles was man braucht. Der Gastgeber ist ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit, bringt frisches Gebäck fürs Frühstück auf der Terasse vorbei.
