Having visited in September 2018, we thought we would make the most of the opportunity another shopping trip before Brexit, as no-one knows what is going to happen. A different room this time with its own spa bath (Room Romantique). Slightly smaller than the previous room, the only downside was a sloping roof, which if you are over 6ft, you might have a problem. Very comfy bed, new bedding and towels+ dressing gowns, there is a TV, but we didn't turn it on. Continental breakfast, just what was needed.(cereals, a decent selection of yoghurts, croissants/pain au chocolats plus fresh baguettes, freshly sqeezed orange juice, fresh fruit, tea or Nespresso coffee) The 1 issue we didn't realise , on Sunday evenings, there are not many restaurants open, don't know if that's only in January ?

We arrived to a very warm welcome and shown to our beautiful clean rooms. Full of character and charm. Plenty of room, tastefully decorated. Great location, secure parking was reasonable and very close by. Very relaxed feel and we are already looking forward to our return.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights at the end of August and I have to say we were very impressed. The hotel itself stands out on the street as being the most well looked after and most characteristic building. We had pre-booked the parking with the hotel directly at a very reasonable rate. The parking is in a large secure garage to which you will be given a remote key which opens the garage door as you drive in an out. Most importantly the parking is less than a five minute walk from the hotel which is very convenient. The hotel is very safe and secure as well. In terms of our stay, we can safely say it was money well spent - the beds were extremely comfy, the room was spotless and the bathroom was amazing. We stayed in the family room with two bedrooms at the front of the house which had a huge jacuzzi bath and a very intriguing yet very modern shower! The room was pretty big and was typically French with very high ceilings and huge windows. We didn't use the hot tub outside but the garden is stunning and they also keep chickens! The hotel is situated very close to Boulogne town square with some amazing restaurants and there is also a lovely walk in the old town which you can get to in under ten minutes from the hotel. The amazing hosts happily advised us on all of the different things we could do in the surrounding area. We decided to have breakfast on the first morning and then after decided to have it the next day as well because it was such a tasty breakfast. The breakfast was a continental breakfast but there were lots of things to choose from - croissants, pain-au-chocolates, bread and a variety of hams, cheeses and cereals, as well as hard boiled eggs which I think were from the chickens in the garden. They also had lots of yoghurts available and they gave us freshly squeezed orange juice to drink as well as offering us a wide range of hot drinks. I am pretty sure that everything was organic and I read in the welcome sheet in the room that the energy they use is also renewable. Inside it is extremely modern and feels very homely and the hosts also speak really good English. I would definitely recommend coming here - what an amazing stay! Merci beaucoup pour ce séjour exceptionnel!

A last minute booking as we decided to stay in France 1 more night, we are so glad we did. Limited availability as only 6 rooms. HERE GOES. Are you ready 😀 The Welcome: we were invited in, by a very lovely young lady who admittedly had very limited English, however, what do you expect, I was able to speak sufficient French to make ourselves understood and had Google translate for the more challenging words, We were offered a hot drink, which we gratefully accepted after a long drive, we were asked to complete the registration form without any rush even though another couple arrived shortly after. We were offered an explanation for the parking facility (more later) and how to use the Hot tub. We were then shown to our room. The young lady offered to help with our 💼. Please be aware that it’s an old building without a lift and as my wife suffers from arthritis in her knees, the stairs were a challenge. Immediately we were blown away with our room, the pictures on the website don’t do it enough justice, just FAB, new bed and bathroom linen, very comfortable Queen size bed. You can see the recent renovations have made a difference, all clean and sparkling, both bedroom and bathroom. After unpacking we decided to use the jacuzzi to ease our aching bodies, if the sun hadn’t gone down, we would still be in there, marvellous and clean, we even had individual bathrobes ( you do need swimming costumes for the outside Spa/ Jacuzzi., the only reason we went inside , we were getting too wrinkly. There are rooms with jacuzzi baths inside the room, don’t know how big/ small. The outside 1 was for 6 people. After going out for dinner ( there is No option) to eat in. Beds: very comfy, again part of the refurbishment must have been new mattress’. A fantastic sleep 😴 Breakfast. You do pay extra, but for €8.50 go get a substantial Continental offer, no Cooked breakfast is on offer. To summarise. There just isn’t ANY thing wrong, for us it was perfect, it’s a shame we couldn’t stay longer. Any time you pop across the channel and need a bed, we highly recommend Au Coin du Spa.

On arrival, we 3 friends were greeted very pleasantly with coffee by a young lady who didn’t speak a word of English, but managed to get by with my rudimentary French! Shown to our beautiful family room, very French. The place was immaculately clean. Good size bathroom with jacuzzi bath and multi-level shower, water comes out at the top, middle and bottom. Beautiful secluded terrace and garden with hot tub. Lower garden has childrens play equipment. The owner speaks good English, and was very helpful, friendly and polite. He served us our continental breakfasts both mornings on the terrace. Showed us where to go the map. Comfortable beds. I would definitely recommend this beautiful accommodation.

Stayed two nights at the Au Coin Du Spa recently and what a relaxing little break it was. Everything about this hotel is excellent, The rooms are immaculate and full of character. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. We used the hot tub which was great, as were the breakfasts. I would love to stay there again if I visited the beautiful Boulogne sur Mer.

Stayed at this hotel last night, fantastic room and amazing facilities especially in the bathroom including spa bath tub. Beautiful decor lovely garden excellent hosts. We would definitely stay here again and make time to use the hot tub and lounge area in the garden.

Really lovely welcome, AMAZING family room with a connected room for the little ones and the best bath ever! The jacuzzi outside was lovely and the little secret garden with toys was a fab find 😃 Would without a doubt head back again..... perfectly situated to travel to Brittany or further South.

Very nice experience at this B&B in Boulogne. Location is perfect and the rooms are very nice and clean. Hostess is very friendly and provides you all the information you need. Breakfast is amazing good. We will surely come back.

We went to this place to stop off on our way to our friends and go there really late. The man was very welcoming and said if we needed anything we could ask him. We went upstairs to our room and didn’t realise how big and spacious it was, they had there own hot tub bath which was lovely and relaxing. Really good place!
