Our room was spotless, well-equipped and supremely comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was very good. There is very little you would walk to from here, but if you have a car this is an excellent stop.

The room was a good size especially as we were travelling with 2 large dogs. It's a shame that some rooms overlook the car park, which is what we had but it's a small detail.

Pleasant New Hotel

New hotel with spacious rooms. We really liked staying here and will certainly return. Our stay could even have been better if a few things are fixed: 1. WiFi kept logging us out. Had to renew log-in multiple times on all devices. 2. There are only two light switches in the room. One at the door and one above the bed. The choice is either all lights on or all lights out. We would like some choice. 3. The separate toilet has a moving sensor and switches on the light when you enter. That is fine during the day, but quite annoying at night as it stays on when you open the door to return to bed and floods the room with light. 3. Breakfast is all you can eat at 12 Euros. A wonderful deal for the four truckers (who really took advantage) but my wife and I are small eaters (a coffee and a croissant is all) and then 24 Euros is excessive.

Very good

The hotel and rooms are first class. The restaurant in the evening serves a limited menu and there are few or no places to eat nearby which means you have to drive into Perigueux. The staff were delightful and I would definitely return.
