The room was fine and the beds were clean and comfortable. However, our neighbors were very noisy and we had a difficult time falling asleep.

Stayed for business; embarrassed to have booked for other colleagues.

It was a short stay but hotel was clean room was comfortable

room was non-smoking, but smelled like it was for smokers in the past. Service was very helpful.

this hotel is clean and quiet with extra comfy mattress. Breakfast is also highly satisfying.

very convenient but the walls are paper thin. i could hear the people in there room talking almost at a normal level 3 rooms down like they were standing next to me!

Really poor hotel. Confusing floor plan. Dirty. Bar was closed down (false advertising). You can get a better breakfast at a gas station. However... the staff was amazing. Super friendly and helpful!

Last time we stayed here we had a nicer room. This time we seemed to be in an older, less well cared for section of the hotel. Beds were comfortable. Room was clean enough. Bathroom was tiny. Folks who like shopping and would like to be close to Legacy Place might like the location. Next time we are in the area, we'll choose to stay in a different hotel.

The Dedham, MA Fairfield Inn was typical of the chain overall. The room was modest, but clean. I made use of the treadmill in the fitness center and enjoyed making waffles at the free breakfast each morning. The reasons I would return to this location are threefold: 1) the amenities, though, modest, are fine for me, 2) the value in the Boston area (with free parking) is very good, and 3) it is 1/4 mile away from a very nice upscale outdoor shopping center (PF Chang's, Whole Foods, Banana Republic, etc) that offers a decent outing if you have some free time.

Wonderful stay at the Fairfield Inn in Dedham for our granddaughter's skating competition at a nearby rink in Dedham.

Great continental breakfast!

It was a great place to stay. It was convenient to get to, nice accommodations and lots of fun shopping/restaurants near by. I enjoyed that the extras ( such as parking!) did not cost extra.

A very nice hotel experience. The only think I disliked was the slow computers in the business center and the printer didn't work.

The hotel is in a good location, right off the highway and not far from Gillette Stadium where we went. Clean room and friendly staff. The only negative was the sparse continental breakfast.

We chose this hotel as it was close to Boston, but half the price of hotels in the city. If you are visiting Boston via your own vehicle, it's definitely worth the savings to stay outside the city (not worth a car rental or cab ride in savings). It's about a 15-20 minute drive into the city (no rush hour). The hotel is very nice and in a great location. There is a lot of shopping and restaurants right next door. Pretty good free breakfast.

I had a two-day meeting in town, so I decided to save myself the commute and book a room. The price at Fairfield was the best in the area for it's level of stars, and it was literally within sight of where I needed to be, so I booked. I might try the Residence Inn next time (it's next door), and hope for better luck! The entrance system was very awkward - it's a long, sprawling hotel that has key cards required to get between floors and into different wings. Not too much of a hassle if you know your way around, but it took me a little bit to find vending and ice machines! The walls are very thin as well, and housekeeping was very noisy in the hall and the rooms next door. The hallways all smelled foul, but the room was fine. Only one complaint about the actual room - The bathtub wouldn't drain! I told housekeeping on my way out and hope they handled it. All in all, definitely a great location. I wish it were a better hotel, but it's not bad enough to make me choose a further place.

Hotel was in a good location to the Gillette stadium and retail/restaurant options. Obviously an older hotel but recently remodeled so everything was clean and new. Coffee machine didn't work but they had a nice breakfast every morning in the lobby. I would stay again.

We found this hotel when we typed in "Mansfield, MA" when in fact, it is not nearly as close as we thought it was so it was quite out of the way. The nearest gas station is quite a distance and the road that it is on a pain to try to get on and off if you are not used to the style of two one-lane high-ways with large medians (making it difficult to get to something on the other side of the road). The sheets had a sign that said they were clean, and even though I am clean-freak those sheets were not up to my standards. Breakfast was about the only thing that saved them because it was free, your typical continental breakfast. I guess you get what you pay for, but we have stayed in much better hotels for the same price. The keycard needed to manuver the hallways was not bad, it actually made us feel more secure. The air conditioner worked great, and it was nice to have a microwave and fridge. The tv was HUGE, but the remote didn't work that well, or it was just delayed. As other comments said, there was a strange odor. We didn't get a chance to check out the pool, although it did seem nice. In any case I wouldn't recommend it due to it's location, cleanliness, and the weird odor. If you're looking for a cheap place to bring kids I suppose it wouldn't be bade because of the free breakfast and swimming pool.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is very conveniently located to the the commuter rail. There were a few different eating options in the immediate area.

The room was extremely clean and simple. Satisfactory.
