This comfortable, contemporary first floor unit in a well maintained two family in Salem offers a master bedroom with a comfortable king bed and a smaller bedroom with a full size bed, along with a living room, dining room and fully equipped kitchen. Guests can enjoy the convenience of heating throughout and AC in the living room, along with amenities including books, games and an iron. We are located around the corner from the Hocus Pocus House, a stone's throw from the glorious urban oasis of Forest River Park, which hosts the annual fall market and less than a mile from downtown. This property is the ideal home base for your trip to Salem. As a long term US SERVAS hosts, we are accustomed to hosting and happy to share as much information as you'd like while staying in our home. Minimum night stay is 2 nights but a 25% off is provided on the 3rd night if booked for 3 nights. Children over 8 years old are welcome and an extra twin bed can be provided at no cost upon request.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and space to spread out with 2 bedrooms. The vacation home also includes an ironing board.

Absolutely Wonderful Stay!We had such an amazing stay at Rachel’s place! The space was so cute, cozy, and comfortable — it felt like home the moment we walked in. The location couldn’t have been better: easily walkable into town for restaurants and shops, yet tucked away just enough to be peaceful and quiet away from the noise and chaos.Rachel was an incredible host — so friendly, thoughtful, and welcoming. We were celebrating my sister’s birthday, and she went above and beyond by surprising us with a cake, plus breakfast foods, coffee, and creamer for the weekend. Every little detail made us feel cared for and completely at ease.She also gave us great recommendations and helpful tips for navigating what turned out to be a very busy weekend in town. We felt so safe and comfortable during our stay and truly didn’t want to leave.Would 100% stay here again — can’t recommend it highly enough!
