Welcome to Into the Woods, a historic stone farmhouse at 520 meters above sea level, surrounded by the Mugello woods. The apartment is for your exclusive use—located on the same property where we, the owners, also live, next door but with total privacy—perfect for those who love nature, tranquility, and the rhythms of the mountains, just a short distance from Florence.



ARRIVAL AT THE RETREAT & THE TRAIL

Like any true retreat immersed in greenery, the property is not accessible by paved roads and can only be reached on foot.



Welcome & Luggage: We will meet you at the valley parking area (410 meters above sea level) for a complimentary 4x4 off-road transfer, bringing you and your luggage up to the house. This service is included both on arrival and departure.



Getting Around: During your stay, you will reach your car via a pleasant 1.2 km forest path with a 100 m elevation change (about 30 minutes downhill to the car, about 40 minutes uphill to the retreat). A refreshing walk in nature, ideal for disconnecting.



Recommended gear: Wear comfortable or trekking shoes, and choose backpacks or soft bags over hard suitcases.



THE FARMHOUSE

The Space: Cozy 25 sqm open space (double bed + sofa bed), private bathroom, and equipped kitchen. Fast Wi-Fi for remote work surrounded by nature, panoramic garden. Welcome kit with fresh bread and homemade cakes. As we live next door, we are discreetly available for any needs or advice. Upon request, we prepare traditional Tuscan dinners or Persian specialties for an extra fee.



CLEANLINESS & HOUSE RULES

To ensure maximum cleanliness, outdoor shoes are not worn inside. Pets are welcome. Arrival times must be arranged in advance to organize the 4x4 transfer.
The vacation home features a kitchen and a patio. Other standard amenities include a washing machine and an electric kettle.
