Very space, but cosy room. Lots of (day)light; highest quality of modern bathroom instruments. Separate toilet.Only downside I could identify is that there’s no fitness room in the hotel. Breakfast is complete enough; quality of room service is great.
I stayed one night and it looked newly refurbished, to me, at least the top floor (5th) where my room was. I can just say: very convenient location, extreme comfort from the bed to the spectacular shower, design, good breakfast and , above all, impeccable service at the reception. I gave 4 points only because I never give 5 at the first stay. Congrats to management and all workers.
I completed a survey for the hotel itself after our visit pointing out safety issues about our room 209 and said I thought it should be taken out of service until fixed. We arrived in the morning so there wasn't a room ready. We were advised that the hotel was full and our room would be ready in the afternoon. We left our luggage and explored the city. Positives: Comfortable spacious room, full bath with rainwater shower and large tub, multi lingual friendly reception staff. Good transport links to the city by tram. Close to wine museum and pleasent river side walk. Even airport was straightforward to get to by Public transport via tram and bus. Bordeaux is a great city to visit. Lots to offer for a short break. Negatives: Our room room was missing an outer plain of glass as illustrated in the attached photo. The window opened from floor to ceiling so you could walk out literally. As the hotel was full and we didn't complain at the time but wouldn't have stayed in the room of we had a child. The bathroom wouldn't be too everyone's taste as it didn't have solid walls just ropes hanging down for some privacy.
We stayed at the hotel twice, before Christmas and after New Year’s at the beginning of January. The hotel is very modern. The rooms are big; the beds are comfortable. I specially loved the bathroom amenities. Breakfast is a must! The hotel offers delicious and quality food and beverages. You won’t be disappointed.
big rooms very modern the ceiling was made of polished black wood open bathroom with original white seperation huge bath for two comfortable bed we enjoyed our stay of just one night easy 10 minuite tram ride to the centre of Bordeaux
We booked this place quite late on he merit of its location and it's private parking. It was an easy drive from the airport and despite the private parking being closed, the smart multi-storey over the road they offered instead at the same price was very good! Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, looking after our bags so we could explore the city prior to our check in and furnishing us with maps and explanations of the tram and which stops we might want. (The tram itself was very immediately accessible, barely a minute outside of the hotel on foot!) Our room was modern and smart, with a strangely mirrored ceiling, a large comfortable bed and a frankly enormous bath shower unit! Breakfast was fairly simple but had been included in the booking deal for us so was fine for something we did not pay for. The hotel provided us with helpful amenities like shaving razors free of charge and promptly when asked. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place. It was smart, friendly, clean and only a few minutes on the tram to the historic centre of Bordeaux (or indeed a leisurely half hour wander along the river!).
The name sounded off beat. The write ups and information seemed to confirm that. Our stay definitely confirmed it. It is a pleasant place staffed by helpful personnel. Apparently they are hospitality students. Our room was sort of quirky. The ceiling was mirrored and decorative ropes surrounded the bath tub and wash basin. There are even rooms that have round king size beds but they were all reserved by the time we made our reservation. The breakfast room and bar one floor up from the lobby is definitely off beat but still quiet and pleasant. The hotel is close to the new Wine City and the new shops and restaurants on the wharf which means it is also far from the train station and historical district. Our cab ride was about €30. A faster and much cheaper way to get there would be to catch the city's light rail at the train station. There is a stop less than a block from the hotel.
I stayed one night in this hotel. Overall the hotel is not bad for the price and it has an average location ( about 15mins from the city center ) very near to the tram station Les Hangars. The room was quite spacious and the bathroom too. The only problem was that the room seemed old and the smell was not the best. If it was not for that I would give much better rating.
Stayed for one night for a weekend break in Bordeaux. Our room was at the front of the hotel facing the hangers, lovely large room with great bed and very big bathtub, all very clean but was disappointed that there was no tea and coffee facility in the room for a four star ! My other problem was the noise, or though double glazed you could still hear the people laughing and shouting most of the night, which for me was hard to sleep. Staff were very good and helpful
Very pleasant stay in this modern and stylish hotel in Bordeaux. Roma are spacious, clean and very well equipped. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok, could be a bit more improved with more variety in bread and fruit selection.
