This was hands down one of the worst hotel experiences my family has ever had. We booked 6 rooms months in advance (4 under my name and 2 under a relative’s). When we arrived, they told us they were “overbooked” and had already given away our rooms. Out of my 4, they cancelled 3. For my family member, they cancelled both. So basically, almost everyone in our group was left without a place to stay.
Since every other hotel in the area was already booked, we had no choice but to squeeze as many people as possible into the one suite they left us with. You’d think the hotel would at least try to make up for their mistake, but no. They refused to give us extra parking for the extra cars, saying it was “one car per suite.” Seriously? After cancelling nearly all of our reservations, they still made it difficult for the few of us left to park.
On top of that, the front desk had no solutions besides telling us to call Expedia (which took hours to get through), and they admitted this kind of thing happens often. Completely unprofessional and irresponsible.
If you value your time, money, and sanity, stay far away from this place. Between the overbooking, no parking, and complete lack of customer service, it’s not worth the headache.
