*RESORT DETAILS:
This beautiful 2BR/2BA cedar cabin is fully furnished and will comfortably accommodate 4-6 persons. The cabin is arranged with 1 bedroom each- on opposite sides (bunk beds w/quality pillow top bedding). This cabin includes full kitchen, living room, and centrally located bathrooms; dining table/chairs, couches/recliner, central A/C & heat, ceiling fans, cable TV/DVD, free wireless internet, refrigerator/freezer, stove/oven, microwave, washer/dryer, dishwasher, large covered patio with table & chairs, charcoal BBQ pits, Large covered pavilion featuring fire pit, commercial fish fryers & boilers, & hoses for boat cleaning. The property amenities also include our fish cleaning facility on the canal, for easy fish/game cleaning;(and usually some up-close photo opportunities of the gators feeding on fish carcasses!) This cabin include pillow-top bedding, linens, towels, dishes, pots, pans, cookware, coffee pot with coffee & fixings, soap, shampoo, & washer detergents(sleeps 6).

This is one of a group of cabins called Fin and Feather. It’s a fish camp which is to be expected here. I’d say it was clean by “fish camp” standards but it smelled like it was cleaned with a mix of body odor and urine. Not worth the price.

Great place close to Venice Marina

Hello...owners were very nice and property well maintained. I like this place b/c close to Venice Marina for short drive in the morning but a little more quiet and private. We like to eat a the Black Velvet in the evenings and this places is a few miles south of there. I would highly recommend it.

Mallard Cabin

The Mallard Cabin was a great choice for our weekend in Buras/Venice. The cabin was exactly as pictured and described. The beds were extremely comfortable and the owner responded within minutes when we had questions. Highly recommend!

Peacefully & Relaxing

We really enjoyed our stay at the Mallard cabin! It was exactly what we were looking for. Plenty of room, well stocked, clean and very quiet. Very conveniently located just a few minutes from Venice marina. We were even able to get pics of the alligator at the fish cleaning station! We will definitely be staying again in the future!
