Perched high above the Yadkin River, Riverbend Barn & Cottage is a charming mini barndominium guesthouse offering sweeping quarter-mile views of the water below. Known for its breathtaking sunsets, this peaceful retreat blends rustic character with unforgettable scenery—perfect for intimate gatherings, quiet escapes, and memorable celebrations.
This mini barn dominium has a picnic shelter, large enough to host gatherings of up to 75 people. A tiny house attached to the barn dominium sleeps up to three with one king size bed, and one pullout, full-size sofa bed. A lower and upper deck provide provides stunning views of the Yadkin river and the rapids below.

This mini barn dominium is located adjacent to our other beautiful cabins on the Yadkin river.
The cottage is air-conditioned and features a separate bedroom. Other standard amenities include a washing machine and an ironing board.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
The place was clean and comfortable! The grounds were as described with a view of the river and privacy. We were able to relax and unwind and visited a few of the very close wineries. The outside patios were used our entire trip for dining, reading and relaxing. The bedroom was upstairs and a spiral staircase had to be used to access. I don't believe I saw that description in the listing which is fine it just made it harder to access the bathroom at night. My husband and I both have trouble with stairs, so this probably isn't an issue for most. Make sure to bring coffee pods, and any spices you may need to cook on the convenient propane grill. We enjoyed our stay and the hospitality. Thanks for having us.
