Description: Enjoy a beautiful view of mountain living from this rugged timber frame three- bedroom, three-bathroom downstairs condo located in Chalakee, within Echota Resorts. This condo features a covered front entry and rear deck with an amazing mountain view. The view can be admired from the deck or from the large picture windows in the open kitchen and living room areas. The kitchen features custom kitchen cabinetry, granite countertops, hardwood floors, and stainless-steel appliances. It is fully equipped with everything to prepare a meal inside or outside on the built-in-gas grill. The living room is cozy and inviting with a cultured stone gas fireplace, hardwood floors, comfortable furniture and a TV. The primary bedroom is spacious and inviting with a mountain view and TV. The primary bath is set up for relaxation with his and her sinks and a gorgeous tile shower. The guest rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated each with bathrooms attached. The bathrooms are upgraded with ceramic tile flooring. Stay for a weekend to relax or an extended period and enjoy all the High Country has to offer. This condo is on the bottom floor (downstairs) with an elevator. In case of power outages or elevator equipment malfunctions, the condo will be stair access only.

Location: This Resort is centrally located to Boone, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis and Blowing Rock in the Foscoe area. The convenient location makes it just minutes away from all the High Country’s most famous attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and Caverns, and Appalachian State University.  If you are looking for winter sports there are several different options from Hawksnest Snow Tubing, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, and Appalachian Ski Resort. Relax and enjoy the slow pace of the mountains and the fresh air or be adventurous and go hiking, fishing, biking, or sight-seeing. Some other things people enjoy are shopping, antiquing, skiing, golfing and miniature golfing, ziplining, go-karts, and gem mining.

Beautiful Clean Condo Perfect for large families

We absolutely loved the condo. It was a nice surprise that there were 3 full bathrooms. We had all the kids and grandparents and we all had enough room. We did puzzles on the large dining table, cooked many meals. We loved the pool and hot tub areas as well as the gym areas. We cannot wait to return.

Overall, our stay was amazing. The location wax perfect! The only concerns were the stains on the primary room comforter, insufficient kitchen supplies and the porch was not cleaned. However, these minimal concerns wound not prevent us from returning again.

Came up to the high country to catch an ASU football game. Really enjoyed the amenities at Echota. My only complaint is that the Mountain View on this listing didn’t match the one you actually get from the cabin.

Very nice apartment style rental. Clean, spacious, and comfortable beds. Conveniently located to slopes, which was the reason for our trip. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Community pools/spa closed for repairs so added no value to our stay. Was also frustrated by lack of kitchen essentials. When staying for a long weekend, it’s a pain to think about packing aluminum foil, plastic wrap, spices, etc. a better stocked kitchen would have been nice. Baking sheets were gross with caked on remnants of prior use. Also would have been nice to have bathroom toiletries available, especially for the rental price paid. These issues wouldn’t stop me from staying here again though as the overall array was comfortable and enjoyable.

Wonderful visit!

We had a great time ringing in the New Years in this property! For several days we had our family of 5 and then my older parents came for a few nights. There was tons of room and each room had a bathroom which made it great! There was an elevator for my father who has bad knees. The view and porch were perfect and it was close to everything we needed, hikes, grocery, grandfather mountain, etc. The kids loved the indoor pool and hot tub. We had kids ranging in age 16-8 and it was perfect. Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

Winter getaway

This place was really nice. The only gripes were the gas logs were working which maintenance fixed but they stopped working again the next day and wouldn’t light. The TVs were too small and the kids room tv wasn’t a smart tv so the youngest kids were watching cable tv with very few if any kids channels. Other than that, we loved the place and it was better than the pictures which usually isn’t the case.
